1 SATURDAY MAP 001 Waller Stadium WALLER ROUTE All cyclists begin a rolling start at 8:00am from the Waller Stadium Parking Lot (North of HW 290). Riders will go North from the parking lot. The route will take the feeder of HWY 290 to FM 362, and take that all the way to Old Houston Highway.
2 SATURDAY MAP 002 WALLER ROUTE BP#1W Hempstead Stadium Parking Lot The riders will not use the Waller County Fairgrounds this year. For 2016, we are using the Parking Lot of Hempstead Stadium. This is a new location for this BreakPoint.
3 SATURDAY MAP 003 WALLER ROUTE The cyclists go West on Highway 159. The next stop will be Lunch in Bellville.
4 SATURDAY MAP 004 Map continues on Saturday Map 018 WALLER ROUTE The cyclists continue West on Highway 159. The next stop will be Lunch in Bellville.
5 SATURDAY MAP 005 Rhodes Stadium Starting Line Katy Mills Mall RHODES ROUTE The Corporate Sponsors & 300 Club cyclists will start at 6:45am. The main start will occur at 7:00am (weather permitting). If inclement weather occurs, the modified starting times will be determined by the MS Executive Staff. This year we will return to starting the event on the West side of the Stadium. Cyclists will go South on Katyland Drive, to get to the traditional route on Alt-90.
6 SATURDAY MAP 006 BP#1A Royal High School RHODES ROUTE BP#1A will be hosted at Royal High School. Also, all cyclists will be diverted North on FM 362. Even if they skip the BreakPoint, the route will use Royal Road. Extra Signs will be set up to warn the cyclists that is 15.8 miles to the next Port-O-Lets.
7 SATURDAY MAP 007 RHODES ROUTE Cyclists will rejoin the route on Hwy. 359 from Royal Road.
8 SATURDAY MAP 008 Map continues on Saturday Map 015 RHODES ROUTE We will not be using BreakPoint #2A this year. All cyclists on the Rhodes Route will be using BreakPoint #3 for their next rest stop.
9 SATURDAY MAP 009 TULLY ROUTE Tully Stadium Tully Stadium will be used this year. A special start will begin at 6:45am for Team BP and the 300 Club Riders. All other cyclists will be released in waves staring at 7:00am (weather permitting).
10 SATURDAY MAP 010 TULLY ROUTE The route turns West on Clay Road.
11 BP MS150 TULLY ROUTE SATURDAY MAP 011 The route turns North on Fry Road and the cyclists continue until they reach Duryea Elementary School.
12 BP MS150 TULLY ROUTE SATURDAY MAP 012 BP#1 Duryea Elementary School The Duryea Elementary School is just before the cyclists reach FM 529. After leaving the BreakPoint #1, the cyclists turns West on FM 529.
13 SATURDAY MAP 013 BP#2 MHWirth TULLY ROUTE The route continues West on FM 529 until the cyclists arrive at BreakPoint #2. Cyclists must cross oncoming traffic to enter the BreakPoint site, MHWirth.
14 SATURDAY MAP 014 TULLY ROUTE The route continues West on FM 529, and then turns North on FM 362.
15 SATURDAY MAP 015 Map continues on Saturday Map 008 TULLY ROUTE The cyclist turn and go West on FM 529. They join cyclist that started at Rhodes Stadium when they cross FM 359. Police will be directing traffic - the shorter route from Rhodes should have a majority of those event cyclist past this intersection by then. If you are driving an Event Vehicle please avoid this intersection if possible.
16 SATURDAY MAP 016 BP#3 Open Field - has White Barn (with red trim) The cyclist from both Routes will use the BreakPoint #3 site. The address is 9588 FM-529. If there is rain there will be significant challenges with this site, since it is mostly dirt.
17 SATURDAY MAP 017 All of the cyclist will continue along FM 529 towards Lunch in Bellville.
18 SATURDAY MAP 018 Map continues on Saturday Map 004 Lunch City Park Bellville All of the cyclist will enjoy Lunch at the Bellville City Park. All cyclists will travel through downtown Bellville and continue the route on FM 159 to La Grange.
19 SATURDAY MAP 019 All cyclists continue West on FM 159 to La Grange.
20 SATURDAY MAP 020 BP#4 Nelsonville Brethren Church All cyclists encounter the first rolling hills approaching Nelsonville. To reach the Brethren Church the riders will need to take the right branch in the road and go to the top of the hill. Riders need to be cautious when getting back on FM the intersection is at the top of another hill and visibility is only about 60 yards.
21 SATURDAY MAP 021 BP#5 Industry United Methodist Church The next BreakPoint is in Industry at the United Methodist Church. Cyclists will need to divert off of FM 159 to get to the Church Grounds. SAGS will be using an adjacent parking lot for those that need a ride directly to La Grange. Please follow all directions given by the local Police Force.
22 SATURDAY MAP 022 Cyclists continue West on FM 159.
23 SATURDAY MAP 023 BP#6 SPJST Hall Cyclists will stop at the SPJST Hall in Fayetteville. People from the town gather along the route and cheer for the riders. Volunteers must continue to visually check the cyclists for Heat Stroke and Heat Exhaustion if it is a warm day.
24 SATURDAY MAP 024 BP#7 Delores Bayer Home Cyclists will need to zig zag to BreakPoint#7. Police Support will be provided at both of the intersections. After finishing at the last BreakPoint, riders will take FM 2981 to the La Grange Fairgrounds. These back roads are less traveled by automobiles, and allow cyclists to pull into the Finish Line from the North (and not cross busy traffic on Highway 77).
25 SATURDAY MAP 025 Cyclists will turn South on FM 2145 and head toward the La Grange Finish Line.
26 SATURDAY MAP 026 La Grange Fairgrounds Saturday Stop / Finish Cyclists go along FM 2145 and then turn South to the Fairgrounds. Taking this route does not require crossing the road (with automobiles and trucks) - avoiding the congestion at the La Grange Fairgrounds entrance at HWY 77. Be aware that there is always a solid line of cars along HWY 77 between the entrance and the HWY 71 crossing. Please avoid if possible.
