Anyone found leaving the mat early to rest, or arriving once the Training Course has finished, will be barred from competing in the afternoon. SPECTATORS: Please make sure your spectators purchase their tickets beforehand as they will not be able to do so on the day unless they have made a special arrangement with Claire. In the past, we have experienced spectators trying to gain entrance without paying and just turning up on the day. This is most unfair to the rest of us and tickets will be checked.

6 - 6 COMPETITION CATAGORIES (CHILDREN = 5 17 Yrs. INCLUSIVE) RANDOM ATTACKS Normal rules apply. This category is determined by belt grade, and weights are not required. Opponents will be judged as always on the Street Effectiveness of their techniques and all round awareness. Each competitor should attend the competition with an attacker of their choice (no more than 2 grades above) but, remember, no signalling is allowed. THERE WILL BE NO PEWEE RANDOM CATEGORY. ALL ADULT BLACK BELT SEMI-FINALISTS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED INTO OUR ADVANCED RANDOM ATTACKS SUMO: There will be a Sumo contest for 5-7 yrs (weight categories will apply) GROUND FIGHTING CHILDREN ONLY UP TO 17YRS JUNIORS/16-17 yrs: Normal Adult Rules Apply. PART 1: SPARRING: 1 Minute PART 11: GRIP/THROW: 45 Seconds PART 111: GROUND FIGHTING: 1 Minute SCORRING: PART 1: PART 11: SPARRING: Clean Punches/Strikes/Kicks = 1 Point All sparring must be LIGHT and with CONTROL. NO DIRECT PUNCHING TO FACE/KICKS BELOW WAIST THROWING: Referee will shout Grip after 1 minute sparring 45 seconds maximum to THROW/TAKE DOWN Clean Throw = 5 Points Take Down = 3 Points PART 111: GROUND FIGHTING: Begins immediately after successful Throw/ Take-Down.
