1 Oncor Pedal and Paddle High Adventure Program A new adventure for older scouts at Camp Constantin/Jack D. Furst Aquatic Base 2013 Information Guide
2 Oncor Pedal & Paddle High Adventure Program General Information The Oncor Pedal & Paddle High adventure program is an outpost activity for scouts both male and female, age 14 and up. It is an opportunity that combines the fun and adventure of traveling by kayak and mountain bike through some of the most beautiful terrain that Central Texas has to offer by combining the disciplines of kayaking and mountain biking. The program is offered on a weekly basis starting June 16 and runs for the following six weeks. This is an outpost/trek experience - meaning that participants will be staying in their own backpacking tents, traveling and carrying all of their supplies with them. Cost will be $330 for Circle Ten Scouts and $340 for Non-Circle Ten Scouts. If you are registering and attending with your troop you will need to pay your regular camp fee ($230 - C10 Members, $240 - Non-C10 Members) with your troop payment and then an additional $100 with your application for Pedal & Paddle. Adults also have an opportunity to participate. In fact, we are looking for adventurous adult leaders (both male and female) to assist our four full time male and female staffers in supervision of the crews. Every session there will be four slots made available for adult volunteers FREE OF CHARGE. Positions will fill on a first come, first serve basis Pedal & Paddle Information Guide 2
