3 India's 1st Ocean Canoe (Surfski) Championship and 2nd Dragon Boat Championship organised on the 27th, 28th and the 29th of January, 2012 by Rae Sport Pvt. Ltd. 232 participants between the age of coming from 14 states Participation from the Navy and Coast Guard. 5 The Venue: H2O Water Sports Centre, Girgaum Chowpatty The Championship was held at H2O Water Sports Centre located at Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai. The Races Races began at the Aquarium and Fly Over and ended at H2o Water Sports Centre providing maximum mileage for viewing There were totally 18 races held of 300m and 500m for the mens And womens discipline

Chalupsky Participants got a chance to train with the worlds best and were taught the finer skills towards the championship path.

6 CLINIC Rae Sport Academy is the only internationallycertified Dragon Boat Training institute in the country. Before the event, Rae Sport organized a special training camp for India s best paddlers under 11 time world champion Oscar Chalupsky Participants got a chance to train with the worlds best and were taught the finer skills towards the championship path. This was the first time Indian paddlers were exposed to and given the opportunity to better themselves under the eye of someone who holds the reigns in the sport. 6

19 Asian Dragon Boat Championship in 2013 The Event Rae Sport Pvt. Ltd. has the mandate to orgainze the first time in India an Asian Dragon Boat Championship in Feb This will be the first international event ever in this discipline in India. A two day selection trial to pick the Indian contingent A total of 21 countries are invited to participate 12 countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, have already confirmed participation. Races for Men, Women and Mixed - in all 36 races covering every category and distance (200 mtr, 500 mtr, 1000 mtr and 2000 mtr) 19

20 Asian Dragon Boat Championship in 2013 The Event Venue There will be a total of 36 races. Race Categories will include Men s, Women s and mixed with distances of 200m, 500ma and 2,000m The races will be conducted along Marine Drive, Mumbai Races will begin opposite the aquarium (200m), the Marine lines Fly-over (500m) and Marine Plaza (1,000m) The end point of the races will be the jetty of H2O Water Sports Centre

Rae Sport Academy Sailient Features Rae Sport academy kicked off its first season in Feb, 2008 with a batch size of 8 between the age group of 12-26.

27 Rae Sport Academy Sailient Features Rae Sport academy kicked off its first season in Feb, 2008 with a batch size of 8 between the age group of Basic kayaking courses and Surfski Classes are run at H2O water sport centre, Girgaum Chowpatty, Mumbai and advanced kayaking courses are run at the Kundalika River, Kolad (130 kms from Mumbai). Wind Surfing units are in Mumbai, Pune, Karvar. In the last 3 years, Team Rae has trained 200 kayakers, 2 state Dragon Boat teams, the National Dragon Boat team, 2 national level Surfski paddlers and over 50 windsurfers. 27

28 Our Goal Respect the environment by creating a movement to get more people on the water Main aim is to get more people on the water by organizing races and social events in order to draw peoples attention. Team Rae has always focused on improving and expanding events in order to cater to a larger audience and gain mass appeal. Beginning with a simple sit-on top fun even at Chowpatty beach in Mumbai for the members of Golds Gym, Rae Sport organized the MUMBAI OCEAN CHAMPIONSHIP India s first Ocean Canoe (Surfski) National Championship and the Second Dragon Boat Championship. All the equipment used were of international standards. Organized a friendly sit-on top kayak race in Goa and collaborated with the Jaguar Sailing Championship to conduct a race at Navy Nagar. 28
