1 THE HOWARD BEAT August 24, 2018 Check out and like the Howard Facebook page for posts on the many activities taking place at Howard and bookmark the Howard Web Page to check out the school calendar and other important information. Howard Facebook Page Howard Web Page OCPS Web Page Message from our Principal, Kimberly Beckler Thank you everyone for a fabulous second week of school! We are off to a great start and are entering some very busy weeks ahead with soccer, theatre auditions, dance troupe auditions, and music events. We appreciate the dedication of our students and families as everyone works to manage all of these activities while maintaining a focus on academic success and growth. As we move into our third week of school, please be aware that we are unable to accept any further schedule change requests, as any changes being made now are based solely on class size compliance. We sincerely appreciate your continued patience and flexibility as we finalize the changes necessary to existing schedules.

2 Class Schedule Changes & Class sizes In accordance with Florida Statute the maximum class size enrollment in all middle school core academic classes may not exceed 22 students. Currently, Howard Middle School is adjusting class enrollments in order to ensure our school is in compliance with this statute.
