FOR GOD AND COUNTRY Memorial Scholarship Fund Remember your loved ones with a donation to the Karl F. Weissenberger Memorial Scholarship. Auxiliary 1 St Vice By Fritzi Ladies! Help! We were doing so well. Dues are dribbling in. We are a little over half way to reaching our goal, so put that on your to-do- list and get those dues in soon. SAL ews Scott Thornton Hi, everyone, In an attempt to try to get more members (ideally some of our younger ones) to attend a Squadron meeting, we will be moving the meeting normally planned for Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:30 PM to Sunday, April 23rd at 3:00 PM. We hope to see some folks who haven't been around for a while! Also, we still have over 40 members who have not renewed their membership for Dues are $12.00 for regular members, and $10.00 for those under the age of 13. Third NOTE: If you are interested in what our Cheer Squad does with the post supporting them as our Children and Youth program and learn more about what they give back to vets, homeless vets (male & female), please, come out and see for yourselves. Page 3 In this Jolly Flyer is their competition schedule, I urge you to find time to pick one day. We are saving all of these young kids from the streets and worse. ALL of these young kids develop into young adults of the yesteryear that you remember. A NEW YEAR IS UPON US, AS INTERESTING AS IT WILL BE, LET US BAND TOGETHER AND LIFT OURSELVES FROM THE DEPTH WE ARE IN. GOD BLESS AMERICA Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them & their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. In the name of our God, Amen. Spring is not far away from us! Cannot wait to pull the bikes out of their winter homes and wind blowing through the hair. (Well maybe some hair lol) As you pull the bikes out, and are checking everything over for the new season, remember that extra loving care you give to her now will give you extra miles in return. 4 Auxiliary Endowment Fund Please consider giving a donation to the Auxiliary Endowment. ******* Children and Youth ******* Lending Closet The post pantry has received donations from our Cub Scouts! Thank you!! The Pantry has also received food and money donations from the Toledo Harley Davidson Riders Group! Thank you to them for the support. American Spirits Cheer Squad Come and watch any of these events and cheer these young ladies and men. They have taken 1 st place for both teams at their first 2 comps and 5 th place at the most recent. Thank you to all that help make this happen for them! On February 11, they had their annual Pinewood Derby. The following are the top 3 rankings in each division. The Cub Scouts are still raising funds for a new track. If you would like to help them raise funds for the next section of track, please send it in to Russ Bohland with the memo that it is to help the Cub Scouts new track. Anything to help these boys is always grateful. Thank you

5 Member News By Pam Brenneman Just heard that Martha Nowak recently fell and fractured her pelvic. We hope you get well soon Martha. I also heard that Sandie Carter was recently in the hospital. We hope you are feeling better Sandie. I want to thank everyone for their get well cards when I recently have my eye surgeries. Both eyes are doing great and for the first time in 55 years I am no longer wearing glasses thanks to the cornea transplants I had. Our deepest sympathy to the family of Theresa Huber who passed away on February 6th. We have several members celebrating a birthday in March and April.
