The end of an era is here for me as my Dad ("Red" Mayers) passed away Monday night at 11:23pm (11/28/16). I can't believe he is gone and can't imagine life without him. I have lived at home with him or next door to him my en re life. He has always been there. He has shaped who I am in so many ways and shared many interests with me including his love of music and dancing. He is now free and in no more pain which is a blessing for him. A friend sent me a Dr. Seuss quote "Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened". I am forever grateful that he "happened" and that he was my Dad. He was an amazing man and touched many lives here on Earth in his 95 years. You are now free Dad and back with Mom, Aun e Gert, Uncle Joe, Bob and so many other family members and friends that have passed before you. Safe journey as you move on to heaven and your next chapter... Ride on "Fearless Red"! Thank you for all you have given me in life. MOUNTAIN MAGIC DANCE CONVENTION Recap last weekend was another fantastic time in Lake Tahoe with absolutely beautiful weather. A big thank you to all who a ended and contributed to make the event such a success! We received so many posi ve comments on the event and the special addi ons. The surveys again reflected the "fun and friendly" atmosphere with emphasis on the "social" aspects which are some of our main goals for Mountain Magic. We hope that everyone felt welcome and enjoyed themselves in our event's warm and casual environment. A special thank you to our "ENTIRE" fabulous Staff for doing a superb job. You are the best!
