1 ENCORE COMPETITION Arlington Convention Center June 19-23, 2017 Please read carefully. Rules not followed can result in point deduction or disqualification! All dancers must arrive 2 hours ahead of their scheduled performance time. NOTE THIS IS TO ALLOW TIME TO RECEIVE AND PUT ON COSTUME. PLEASE COME WITH HAIR & MAKE UP COMPLETE OR ALLOW ADDITIONAL TIME. If the competition runs ahead of schedule they will not stop. Points may be deducted if dancers are not ready to perform. Encore often runs ahead of time. Encore has made every effort to schedule the competition to avoid any performance or costume change conflicts. Please plan ahead for quick changes when necessary. THERE IS PLENTY OF TIME IF YOU ARE PREPARED! All entries must Ucheck in with the Back Stage Manager no less than 6 numbers ahead of their performance. If dancer(s) do not check in with the stage manager Encore assumes that the dancer(s) are not present & points may be deducted. If you are unable to be backstage 6 numbers prior to your routine due to a costume change please designate 1 person to communicate this to the Back Stage Manager. The only reason a dancer may not be backstage 6 routines prior is a costume change. Studios, dancers & parents will not abuse the dressing areas.
