3 ABOUT THE CDGA BACKGROUND Founded in 1914 and operated by amateur golfers for the benefit and promotion of golf in the Midwest 400 member clubs and more than 81,000 individual members throughout Illinois and parts of Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin Directed by a District-wide Board of Directors and an advisory committee of past presidents Serviced by a full-time staff based at Midwest Golf House in Lemont, Ill. 10 CHICAGO DISTRICT GOLFER TV Chicago District Golfer will produce five (5) half-hour episodes in 2014 A new episode will air monthly from May through September Each episode will be broadcast 4-6 times throughout the month All episodes of Chicago District Golfer will air exclusively on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, home of the Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox Full episodes will also be available on CDGA.org Chicago District Golfer is hosted by long-time sports reporter and avid golfer Jill Carlson As with Chicago District Golfer magazine, the TV show covers the game from a local perspective focusing on the people, places and events that most interest the avid golfers of Illinois ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES SEGMENT SPONSORSHIP: $1,500 per episode or $6,000 for full season Sponsorship includes opening and segment billboard plus (1) :30 commercial per episode :30 COMMERCIAL: $1,000 per episode or $4,500 for full season :10 BILLBOARD COMMERCIAL: $500 per episode or $2,000 for full season Comcast SportsNet Chicago is the home of the Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox and reaches over seven million homes throughout the United States. 11 MY CDGA MOBILE APP The MY CDGA mobile app brings the CDGA to your smartphone MY CDGA is free for CDGA members only More than 20,000 downloads through the end of 2013 Members can post scores, access their USGA Handicap Index, view handicap label and scoring history Provides a complete club directory including contact information and map directions Members can read the latest golf news from ESPN, Golfweek and the USGA In 2013, more than 16,000 CDGA members utilized the MY CDGA app and posted over 280,000 scores (16% of all posted scores) RATES: $3,000 for twelve months There will be a limit of eight (8) CDGA Partners allowed to advertise on MY CDGA in 2014 In 2013, banner advertisements only appeared on the home page of the MY CDGA app. The banner location received 1,309,443 impressions and 4,205 clicks* (.32% CTR).
