Look for the Lodge 590 entry in the Coralville parade. If anyone is interested in helping with the parade contact Loyal Knight Jason Tjarks at jdtjarks@gmail.com. Out Lodge hours will be adjusted for the holiday. Wednesday the 3rd we will have our regular hours with lunch 11:30 to 1:30, dinner will be served 5:30 to 8:30, with pool side menu available 5:30 to 8. For the holiday and Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th we will have our All American Buffet set up in the Lodge dining room. You can dine in the Lodge or take your food pool side. The buffet will be available 11:30 to 6 each day. We want to thank the Concha family for donating the new speakers for the pool side sound system. Uncle Rico Returns Uncle Rico the Band returns to the Elk's pool side Saturday the 20th of July for a night of great music and dancing. The band will play from 6:30 to 10 PM. We have tied the bands performance in with the golf event we will host and have invited all the other southeast Iowa Elks Lodges. There will be a $5 cover charge per person. All American Buffet Thursday the 4th, Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th we will serve our All American buffet in the Lodge dining room. Feel free to dine in the Lodge, or take your plate to the Pro Shop or pool side. We will serve each day from 11:30 to 6. The buffet will include burgers, brats, hot dogs, chicken breasts, BBQ pork, chips, salads, brownies and all the condiments. The price will be $10.95 for adults, $6.95 for kids 6 to 12 and no charge for youngsters 5 and under with the purchase of an adult meal. Beverages are extra. SHOES AND SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED IN THE LODGE OR PRO SHOP. Secretary's Report The following were elected to regular membership in Lodge 590 at the 6/3/13 meeting: Michael Tackacs, Brad Seaton, Brent Pritchard, Tony Burrier, Brent Page, Allan Wieskamp, David Jensen, Scott Schroeder, Jack Zimmerman, Danny Hepker, Phil Rushton and Steve Sproule. That's right your guests eats free in July. What a great way to introduce a friend and potential member to one of our Lodge amenities. Offer does not apply to All American Buffet.

2 Thanks to Storm Cleaners We can always depend on our members to be there in times of need. Thanks go to the following who, with short notice, jumped in and helped Ned and his staff get our course back in play as quickly as possible: Roger Beyhl, Vicki, Justin and Jared Concha, Bill and Tyler Courtney, Terry Dickens, Brian Dietz, Doug Flynn, Bob Foley, Don Leaman, George McHenry, Jack Paige and Chuck Wolfe. Open House Sunday July 14th we will hold a membership drive open house in the Lodge dining room. Bring a guest for golf or swim and they play or swim for free. (Carts are extra) Then stop in the Lodge for complimentary soft drinks, wine, beer and appetizers from 2 to 4 PM. We will have all the membership material available for our prospective members. July Golf Events Super Tuesday - July 2nd. 5:30 shotgun $25 includes dinner. A, B, C, D player format Hit and Giggle - Saturday, July 13th. 1:30 shotgun 3 couple team event. $60 per team ($20 per couple) Alternate couple Best Shot Event Southeast Iowa Elk's event - Saturday, July 20th. 1:00 shotgun. $50 per person includes golf, cart and lunch. Four person Best Shot event. Take note of the updated golf schedule included in this bulletin. Clean Up Success We would like to thank the following members who turned out Saturday, June 15th, for golf course clean up. Special thanks go to Amy Pretorius for the use of the cat loader. Volunteers will be needed for flood clean up when river recedes F. Annual job review given to Ned and Kevin IV. Letters were exchanged with person whose rear car window was shattered by golf ball explaining us nor does the individual have liability B. Weather has helped up pool fees and food sales C. No response yet on S/E Elks golf event II. Old Business A. Cart sheds roof estimates to be collected by Steve Wilson B. B.O.D. will meet 7/1 for safety inspection C. Waiting for design and estimate on possible west side deck D. Ask Kevin to provide bulletin ad invoices for B.O.D. as they recruit more advertisers III. New Business A. Pump house damage to be viewed as soon as it is accessible. Bill Courtney has talked with MidAmerican and Ned has spoken with Anderson Electric B.
