Golf Tournament Information Copperhead Golf Course Monday, September 25 The Annual Golf Tournament is one of our most popular events at the Conference & Show. This year the tournament will be played on the completely renovated Copperhead Course with its legendary finishing three holes, dubbed the Snake Pit it is a PGA Tour favorite. Players will have the option to play in an 18-hole scramble or an 18-hole individual stroke tournament. Scramble: It s perfect for the casual golfer who is looking for a relaxing afternoon on the greens. Individual stroke: This tournament serves as a qualifier for an entry spot on the FGCSA team at the GCSAA National tournament. We re breathing new life into the Conference & Show with some exciting schedule adjustments! n Tuesday starts with the Annual Meeting Breakfast, followed by educational workshops and the All Attendee Awards Lunch. n An All Attendee General Education Session will immediately follow lunch. With so many topics of interest and importance to all industry professionals, we don t want anyone to miss these presentations, so we have combined them for a general session. Industry Networking Makes Its Debut n Traditional trade shows are changing dramatically and evolving to provide better value in today s connected environment and the reason we are breathing new life into this year s event. 7 Industry Networking Space Contract Florida Turfgrass Association 65th Annual Conference & Show 1. Vendor hereby agrees to all terms and conditions of this Industry Networking Space Contract (Contract) and agrees to accept and abide by the rules and regulations governing the operation of the Conference & Show (Conference), as may be from time to time established or revised by the Florida Turfgrass Association Conference & Show Committee and Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort (IR). 2. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Florida Turfgrass Association (FTGA), Florida Turfgrass Research Foundation (FTRF), their members, or staff, any sub-contractors of the IR against all lost, cost, liability or expense, including attorney fees, claims, suites or judgments whatsoever in connection with injury to or death of any persons, loss or damage to any property, arising at or in any way connected with the performance of the vendor, its personnel or equipment. Vendors are advised to carry floated insurance to cover exhibit material against damage or loss, public liability against injury to person or property of others. 3. Vendor agrees to hold harmless FTGA, FTRF, its members, employees and agents against any and all claims and charges, and agrees to pay all royalties, license fees or other charges incurred by the use of any music, video or other entertainment. 4. Vendor is liable for any damage caused by fastening displays or fixtures, paint, lacquer, adhesive or any other coating to building floors, walls, space equipment or for damages caused in any manner. 5. Vendor is responsible for leaving exhibit area clean and in the condition it was found during move in. Vendor must remove any and all space materials including trash. Trash receptacles will be provided for the vendor to place unwanted items. Should the space exhibit area not be cleaned by the vendor at the time of move out, a $100 fee will be assessed and an invoice will be sent to the vendor. 6. No vendor may assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of the space assigned to him/her, nor permit any other party to exhibit therein, not distribute any promotion or advertising materials in the space, other than those manufactured, grown or sold by them in the regular course of business without the knowledge and approval of the FTGA. 8. Vendor must abide by space and exhibit specifications. Vendor s display must be contained completely within the specified boundaries of the 8 x10 space in compliance with space specifications. No portion of said display may extend into aisle or into any adjoining space or other area outside the perimeters of the space. Each space will be 8 x10 with 33 side drapes; side drapes may not be dismantled in order to join two spaces. Vendor s display must provide sufficient standing or seating area within said perimeter to accommodate the space attendants as well as any anticipated stationary audience, which the display is designed to attract. 9. Vendor agrees to abide by the payment as shown herein. A vendor not making full payment with the following specified due date forfeits all rights, claims and reservations to the space assigned. Balance is due 8/31/17. Any space not confirmed with payment by 8/31/17 will be automatically cancelled and be released for immediate resale. 10. Cancellation up to 45 days prior to show, 50% of total sponsorship/space cost will be retained; days prior, 75% of total sponsorship/space cost will be retained; 14-1 days prior, 100% of total sponsorship/space cost will be retained. All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to the FTGA office. 11. Vendor agrees to abide by the setup and dismantle times. If a vendor dismantles their space before the dismantle time a $500 fee will be billed. 12. In the event the Conference is cancelled because of reasons beyond the control of the FTGA, payments already made will be returned to the vendors on a pro-rate basis after all related Conference expenses incurred by FTGA have been met. 13. Vendor contract must be received by the FTGA by 8/31/17 in order for that vendor to appear in the Conference program. 14. The FTGA Show Committee will select vendor space according to industry segment and sponsorship level. When all spaces have been, sold the vendor will be notified of space number. Floor plan and space assignment are subject to change. Vendors can periodically check to see the status of their space number.
