3 1 Welcome, friends, to the 2014 Winter Circuit! We re looking forward to an exciting year of challenging competition opportunities, great hospitality, and a good time to be had at every show! Here are some of the highlights we are particularly excited about. First of all, you asked for it, you got it! In December, we will host a $25, Grand Prix Week I and Week II. In January, we will host a $25, Grand Prix Week I and Week II and a $10, Hunter Derby Week II. In February, we ll bring back the Canadian Hunter Derby that was so popular last year (if you were not here, you missed the beautiful trophy designed by Sisters In Glass it was one of a kind, and truly spectacular!). For our series finale in March, we will host a $15, Grand Prix Week I and a $30, Grand Prix Week II. There will also be a National Hunter Derby in December and in March. And as always, Maura Tobler and the Tack Trunk offer plenty of excitement and friendly competition with the Tack Trunk Circuit Awards. Maura offers great prizes and a splendid presentation that everyone looks forward to each year! Not only have we amped up the prize money this year, but also take a look at the International Course Designers who will be visiting us in Lake St. Louis. We are so pleased to have them at our shows! The USHJA Pre Green Incentive Program was extremely successful in 2013 and we look forward to the opportunity to present classes again this year. The finals in Kentucky were spectacular - definitely a worthwhile goal for the coming show year! And always great atmosphere, great parties and great food! We also invite you to join us in September October at Gallop in the Glen two great shows in a spectacular setting in New Market, TN. While there, enjoy beautiful surroundings, great competition and, of course, wonderful hospitality the evening parties are fun for all! Be sure to include these shows on your calendar! We are also proud to present Gallop Around Louisiana along with Serenity Farm this coming show year two AA shows in June and also two in October. Serenity Farm is a great show facility located in Folsom, Louisiana just north of New Orleans. You can look forward to great competition in a beautiful Louisiana setting, and of course, Louisiana folks know how to have a good time! If you ve been before, you ll remember how fun these shows were they ll be even better this year. These are shows you don t want to miss! 6 4 GENERAL INFORMATION, RULES AND REGULATIONS CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT FEDERATION RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 nonmember registration fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. The Horse Show Management reserves to itself the right to limit entries in any class, section or division, to refuse, accept conditionally, or to cancel any entries, disqualify any riders or exhibitors, prohibit exhibition of entries, and cancel award prizes, without any claim for damages; to change any course to add a dotted line, to cancel or combine any unfilled classes, or to reschedule classes, after due notice to exhibitors; to change rings or rotate judges; to change specifications in jumper classes as competition warrants. Every horse entered herein for competition will be under the control of the Horse Show Management, but the show management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the horse show and the officials, employees, directors, officers, sponsoring entities of the horse show and the facilities at which the horse show is held blameless for any loss or accident to his horse(s), employee(s), or equipment which may occur from sickness, fire or other cause. Each horse entered will be assessed a $8.00 drug fee + a $8.00 USEF fee, which is forwarded to USEF. EXHIBITOR NOTE ALL ADDS/SCRATCHES during the horse show must be made on the form provided in the horse show office before the classes begin. Horses shown in a class which they have not been entered will be required to pay a DOUBLE ENTRY FEE in those classes. NON-SHOWING HORSES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY A $150 FEE PER SHOW. Horse and owner information must be put on an entry form. CHECK OUT Any mistakes at check out must be resolved within 24 hours. No refunds will be given. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILLS CAREFULLY. COURTESY CIRCLE A dotted line in Hunter and Equitation classes may be used to facilitate ease in the time schedule. REFUNDS Once a horse is entered and accepted by the show, it may not be withdrawn from competition without permission of Management. Exhibitors shall be held responsible for entry fees of all horses entered by them or their agents even though payment of these fees is not submitted along with entry form. Entry refunds for all ill or injured animals will be granted only upon receipt of a satisfactory vet certification from the official horse show veterinarian. When valid notification is received, the entry fee will be refunded or dropped less a $30.00 office processing fee. STABLING FEES AND NOMINATING FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. HORSES WHICH ARE NOT SHOWN IN A CLASS IN WHICH THEY ARE ENTERED WILL FORFEIT THEIR FEES, except if a horse becomes ill or is injured prior to the class or classes entered. In this case, A SCRATCH SHEET MUST BE FILLED OUT AND MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SHOW OFFICE PRIOR TO THE CLASS OR CLASSES BEING SCRATCHED. Once your number has been picked up, a transaction fee of $5 may apply if you add or scratch a class. If you scratch before 4:00 p.m. the day before your class you will not be charged. If you scratch on the day of the class and prior to the start of the class, you will be charged $5. If you scratch AFTER the start of the class, you will be charged the entry fee. PRIZE MONEY The prize money will be awarded at the close of entries. All fees must be paid prior to the class entry. Prize money breakdown: 1st-30%; 2nd-22%; 3rd-15%; 4th-13%; 5th-10%; 6th-10%. Remaining prize money will be mailed to owners within 30 days following the horse show. STABLING Stabling will be available after 9:00 a.m. (12/2/13, 1/6/14, 2/9/14, 3/ 17/14). Stall fees are $185 each for reservations made and PAID for prior to the closing date of entries. NOTE: After closing date, stall fees will be $215. Stalls will be permanent 10 x 10 with gates. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO LIMIT TACK STALLS. Early arrivals will be charged $20 per day, per horse stall. NO STALL WILL BE RESERVED UNLESS STALL FEES ARE PAID BY CLOSING DATE. STALL FEES MUST BE PAID FOR BY CHECK OR CREDIT CARD BY THE CLOSING DATE TO RECEIVE THE STALL FEE RATE OF $ OPEN CHECKS FOR STALL DO NOT COUNT FOR PAYMENT. WINTER SERIES STALL for all eight (8) shows is $1400. Series stalls MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY NOVEMBER 20, Series stalls are non-refundable and nontransferable.

7 5 JUMP ORDER A rotating jumping order will be established and posted for all classes over fences. All horses must be ridden in the posted order. Riders or trainers who have conflicts due to multiple entries in a class must see the starter so that necessary adjustments can be made. CAVEAT: Due to uncertainty classes with $25,000 or more require 15 entries; less than 15 the class may have $10,000 in prize money with a $350 entry fee. classes with $15,000 require 15 entries; less than 15 the class may have $7,500 in prize money with a $300 entry fee. classes with $7,500 require 15 entries; leass than 15 the class may have $5,000 in prize money with a $250 entry fee. all Hunter Classics with prize money require 6 entries or the classes may be combined or cancelled. all Jumper Classes with prize money require 6 entries or the class may be cancelled. JR/AO Jumpers require six entries in each high and low otherwise the class will run as a JR/AO High Low. MEASUREMENT Horses and ponies will be measured on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at all horse shows. RIBBONS Hunter and Equitation Classes Trophy & Ribbons 1st - 8th Jumper Classes Trophy & Ribbons 1st - 8th CREDENTIALS ALL EXHIBITORS IN THE PONY HUNTER, JUNIOR HUNTER, ADULT AMATEUR AND AMATEUR OWNER SECTIONS MUST PRESENT A COPY OF THEIR MEASUREMENT OR AMATEUR CERTIFICATIONS at the show office before their number can be picked up. All ponies or horses that do not have a current measurement card will be measured at a time and place to be announced. USHJA REGISTRY FEE: All horses competing in Federation nonbreed restricted licensed competitions with hunter, hunter breeding, jumper and hunter seat equitation classes (except those activities enumerated in GR901.1, items 1-9) must be properly identified and must obtain a Registration Number from USHJA. CAMPER FEES: $200. BEDDING: All bedding must be purchased through the horse show office before 12:00 Noon. Outside shavings brought in will be charged a clean out fee of $25 per stall. EARLY ARRIVALS: $20 per day - per horse stall. FOOTING: Rings and warm up areas are a combination of sand and clay. SCHOOLING AREAS: Size 100 x 210 and 60 x 200. Ring sizes: 120 x 240 and 120 x 230. POINTS: All classes will count full points except Class #16 Green Conf. Model and High Performance Hunter U/S will be half points. A PROCESSING FEE OF $50 OR 10% OF THE CHECK WHICH EVER IS GREATER, WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL NON-NEGOTIABLE CHECKS. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Entries close November 20, 2013, December 24, 2013, January 11, 2014 & March 5, Entries postmarked after closing date will be accepted as post entries up to one (1) hour before the class or until the division is filled with a post entry charge of $30 per entry. Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards. WARNING Under the Equine Activity Liability Act, each participant who engages in an equine activity expressly assumes the risks of engaging in and legal responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or property resulting from the risk of equine activities. MANDATORY HELMET RULE It is compulsory for all persons at Federation licensed hunter/ jumper competitions, when mounted anywhere on the competition grounds, to wear properly fastened protective headgear which meets or exceeds ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries SEI tag. It must be properly fitted with harness secured. MOTORIZED VEHICLE Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt fromthis rule. TICKETED WARM UP Tuesday Schooling is Free. Rings will be open after the show, time permitting. Tickets should be purchased in the horse show office and are good for one round of eight jumps. Tickets are $20 and non- refundable. 20 18 USHJA INTERNATIONAL HUNTER DERBY CLASS SPECIFICATIONS Effective for competitions starting June 2, November 30, 2014 Changes from marked in bold and italics. I. Course Requirements A. Jumps in all Rounds 1. Obstacles must simulate those reminiscent of the hunt field and the course must offer a variety of Derby jumps with different appearances such as: natural post and rail, stone wall, white board fence or gate, coop, aiken, hedge, oxer, brush, logs, natural foliage. 2. Natural obstacles such as banks and ditches are allowed. 3. A minimum 2 difference is required for the back element of an obstacle. 4. Ground lines are not to exceed 18 in depth from the vertical plane of the jump. For appropriate jumps, no ground line is necessary. 5. The jumpable portion of any obstacle must be a minimum of eight feet on its front face. 6. Flat cups may only be used for obstacles involving logs and/or in accordance with Federation rules. B. Classic Hunter Style Round (First Round) 1. A minimum of 10 obstacles must be offered in the Classic Hunter Style Round. 2. Fences must be set at 3 6 to 4 0 in height, exception option fences. No more than 50% of the course may be set at 3 6 in height. 3. The course must include four higher height option fences set at a minimum of 4 3 in height (no maximum height). If there is a difference in difficulty between any two tracks containing height options, the higher options should include the more inviting obstacles and be on the less difficult track. The number of higher height option fences cannot exceed four and the jump cups on those fences must be normal deep cups of mm. 4. At least one in and out. 5. At least one bending line. 6. At least one line with an unrelated distance. 7. At least one fence with a long approach. C. Handy Hunter Round (Second Round) 1. A minimum of eight obstacles must be offered in the Handy Hunter Round. 2. Fences must be set at 3 6 to 4 0 in height, exception option fences. No more than 50% of the course may be set at 3 6 in height. 3. The course must include four higher height option fences set at a minimum of 4 3 in height (no maximum height). If there is a difference in difficulty between any two tracks containing height options, the higher options should include the more inviting obstacles and be on the less difficult track. All horses entered in the International Hunter Derby class must jog for soundness during the Official Jog prior to the start of the first round in order to compete. The Official Jog must he held within 24 hours of the start of the first round. This jog will be run in a manner similar to an FEI jog. B. Horses are subject to drug testing during the jog and must be compliant with USEF Drugs and Medications rules. C. A horse must be officially entered in the class before it will be allowed to jog. D. Proper attire is required (i.e. riding clothes or proper attire which an exhibitor would wear to compete in a model class). E. All horses must be presented at the Official Jog with their actual competition number and wearing a conventional hunter bridle, including noseband. F. The judging panel for the Official Jog shall consist of the competition veterinarian and a minimum of one judge from the judging panels officiating for the class. G. The jog surface must be level. Horses shall be evaluated from the side and following consultation with the veterinarian, the decision of the participating judge(s) is final and binding and not subject to further appeal of any kind. H. If a horse does not pass the jog; the exhibitor may request to re-present the horse to the judge(s). The judge(s) may decide to allow the horse to re-present at any time up to one hour prior to the start of the class. The vet and one of the judges from the original panel must be present. III.Order of Go A. The order of go must be posted a minimum of one hour prior to the start of the class. B. The draw may be performed by hand or competition management may host a computer draw. C. In the case of multiple horses being ridden by the same rider, competition management must pre-select draw positions for each horse. When possible, every effort will be made so that there will be a minimum of eight horses (if available) separating multiple rides. All horses must be ridden in the sequence that appears on the jumping order in all rounds of the competition, unless class specifications call for a new order for the second round and/or jump-off. IV. Stabling/Schooling A. All horses competing in the Derby class must be on the competition grounds 24 hours prior to the start of the first round of the class. B. All horses will be monitored and must remain on the competition grounds until the horse is finished competing in the Derby class. Any horse that leaves the premises prior to completing it s participation in the Derby class is disqualified. C. All horses must be ridden in official horse show schooling areas unless competition management designates a specific schooling area for derby horses. Riders must wear the horses competition number while mounted. V. Judges A. There will be a total of four judges for this class. Judges will be seated separately in two panels consisting of two judges per panel. B. Each judging panel may consist of either two R-licensed hunter judges or one R- licensed hunter judge and one r-licensed hunter judge. C. All judges must be Federation licensed and in good standing with the Federation and USHJA. D. No guest cards will be granted for this competition. E. Prior to the start of the class, one judging panel must be designated as the tie breaking judging panel for the first round and another panel must be designated as the tie breaking judging panel for the second round. The tie breaking judging panel for the first round will also be designated as the tie breaking judging panel for the jump-off round. VI. Judging System A. The Classic Hunter Style Round shall be judged and numerically scored on quality, movement, jumping style, manners and way of going. Pace and brilliance are to be rewarded. In addition to this base score, each judging panel must award an Option Bonus Score consisting of one additional point for every higher height option fence jumped. These two scores must be announced separately and then added together to determine each horse-and-rider combination s score for this round from each judging panel. The scores of all the judging panels will be added together to determine the total score of each horse-and-rider combination for this round. B. The Handy Hunter Round shall be judged and numerically scored on quality, movement, jumping style, manners and way of going. Pace and brilliance are to be rewarded. This score will determine the final overall standings for the class. E. A judging assistant must be present during all phases of the competition. The duties of the judging assistant include notifying the Judges if a rail comes down and when a horse jumps the higher height option fences. The judging assistant is not required to be a licensed official and is not responsible for the scoring of the judging panels. A competition staff member may fill this role. F. The Option Bonus Score of one additional point for each higher height option fence jumped must be awarded even if there is a refusal, rail down or loss of good jumping style at that higher height option fence, providing that the horse-and-rider combination does jump the higher height option fence. VII. Tie Breaking Procedures A. Neither judging panel may award the same base score to any two competitors in any one round unless a competitor s score is below the cut-off score. B. All ties in all rounds will be broken by the base score (before adding height and/or handy bonus points) of the designated tie breaking judging panel. C. Unless the prize list states that more than 12 entries are to return for the second round, only the top 12 horses from the first round, after all ties are broken, are eligible to return for the second round. D. All ties for overall first place in the class will compete in a jump-off round. In the case of unsafe conditions preventing a jump-off from being held, the tie will be broken using the second round base score (before adding height and handy bonus points), of the designated jump-off tie breaking judging panel. E. Ties for other than first place in the overall standings will be broken using the second round base score (before adding height or handy bonus points) of the designated jump-off tie breaking judging panel. VIII.Award Presentations A. For all Member Event Series classes, USHJA will provide ribbons for the first round, second round and the overall standings. All riders in the top 12 overall (or their designated representative if they are not available) must ride for ribbons in order to receive prize money. B. Competition management may offer additional awards (e.g., highest placing junior owner, highest placing amateur, highest placing thoroughbred, highest placing rider competing on only one entry in the class). IX. Cancellation Policy Competitions approved to host an International Hunter Derby must hold the class with a minimum of three entries, unless the entire competition is cancelled. Cancelling the class without cause (i.e., an act of God), is grounds for future applications to host an International Hunter Derby to be denied. X. Class Specifications A. USHJA International Hunter Derby classes may only be offered at USEF licensed AA-rated competitions and competitions that have been approved for a Special Competition status B. A minimum of $10,000 prize money must be offered per class. C. Competition management will collect and remit to USHJA the per horse entrant fee of $50. D. The entry fee cannot exceed 10% of the prize money offered and must include the $50 per horse fee. E. For an exception to International Hunter Derby Class Specifications, competitions must apply in writing to the USHJA a minimum of 90 days in advance of the date of the class and allowing enough time that any exception will be in the prize list. USHJA, in its sole discretion, may waive the above time requirements in situations of extenuating circumstances. Requests for exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis. F. USHJA reserves the right to accept/approve the hosting of an International Hunter Derby at any time after the application deadline has passed, including during the current series. Applications to host a Derby after the application deadline has passed will be considered on a case by case basis. G. There is an optional annual Enrollment Fee of $200 for the series. Horses DO NOT need to be enrolled to compete in an International Hunter Derby. Horses DO need to be enrolled to be eligible for Regional Awards, to be included on the USHJA IHD Money Won list and to compete in the 2014 Derby Championship. o Upon enrollment in the Derby Program, horses earnings, from date of enrollment forward, will be included on the USHJA International Hunter Derby Money Won list and count toward Regional Awards. Horses must be enrolled in the program before competing in a Derby, IF they wish the money won in that Derby to count toward standings, regardless of the start date of the competition. o Money (and points) won by horses not enrolled in the Derby Program will count toward HOTY awards, but will not be included on the USHJA International Hunter Derby Money Won list or Regional Award Standings. o Owners must declare their horse s region upon enrollment of the horse and the region may not be changed during the Derby Series year. o Owners may choose one region in which to declare their horse(s); the region declared does not have to be the owner s home region. o Regions are generally based on the number and location of Derby Series classes and are as follows: North Region: Includes Zones 1, 2 and 5. South Region: Includes Zones 3 and 4. Central Region: Includes Zones 6 and 7. West Region: Includes Zones 8, 9,10, 11 and 12, and British Columbia. Full details available at H. Riders, Owners and Trainers must be Active members of USEF and USHJA before the start of the class. Horses must be recorded with the Federation and registered with USHJA. I. In order for International Hunter Derby National HOTY bonus points/money to be awarded, riders must complete the USHJA Exhibitor Declaration Form. If the Exhibitor Declaration Form is not completed and submitted to the show office either at the time of entry or at least one hour prior to the start of the class, horses will not receive bonus points/money for the International Hunter Derby. J. National HOTY bonus points/money are awarded to each horse s respective section as declared at the time of entry. Riders may only declare one hunter section for National HOTY points/money. Only Juniors or Amateurs may declare for the applicable Junior or Amateur Owner section. Horses declared in open sections will be awarded both bonus points and the value of their money won for their declared hunter section, toward the appropriate HOTY standings. K. There is no limit to the number of horses a rider can ride in each class; however, a competition may choose to limit the number of horses a rider can compete to no less than three horses, as long as the competition notifies the USHJA 60 days in advance of the date of the class and such limitation is printed in the prize list. L. Horses entered in this class are not required to show in any other hunter or jumper classes at the horse show. M. If questions arise pertaining to the International Hunter Derby that cannot be answered from the class specifications provided, one of the following USHJA representatives must be contacted to resolve any questions regarding the judging procedures or class specifications: Kelley Douglas-Director of Hunter Programs Ron Danta-Chairman of the Itl. Htr. Derby Task Force Bill Moroney-USHJA President N. A computer ranking system tracks the money won for both the horse and rider, both nationally and regionally. O. The USHJA International Hunter Derby is a featured class of the horse show, and must be presented as such with regard to arena size and location, jump quality, decorations, footing and ring preparation, lighting, etc. The Derby ring must have spectator seating, a quality sound system, and a dedicated announcer with no other duties during the class. An electronic scoreboard is recommended. P. The USHJA International Hunter Derby is a two round class with a jump-off round when necessary. Competition Management may apply to hold the Derby class in it s entirety on one day or may apply to hold the first round on one day and the second round and jump-off (when necessary) on the following day. If the two day format is utilized, the class must be held on consecutive days with the first round on day one and the second round and jump-off (when necessary) on day two. When applying to host a Derby class, competition management must designate the format they intend to follow and apply for the day(s) and date(s) accordingly. Competition management must then list the format they have been approved for in their prize list, schedule, and any other form of advertising for the Derby class. Any request to change the format and date(s) applied for and approved must be made in writing to the USHJA a minimum of 30days before the date(s) of the class and all exhibitors must be notified of the change. Q. The course diagrams for each round must be posted a minimum of one hour before the start of the first round, unless the second round and/or jump-off are held at another time. In that case, the course for the second and/or jump-off rounds must be posted a minimum of one hour prior to the start of the second round. Copies of the course(s) must also be available for distribution at the Riders Meeting. R. It is important for competition management to make sure that information on the scoring system is available to spectators. S. The same horse may not compete in the USHJA International Hunter Derby and the National Hunter Derby at the same competition. T. Prize money must be distributed as follows: 30% for 1st, 22% for 2nd, 13% for 3rd, 8% for 4th, 6% for 5th, 5% for 6th, 4% for 7th, 3% for 8th and 9th, 2% for 10th, 11th, and 12th. XI. Miscellaneous A. For all classes, competition management is required to provide copies of the course to riders prior to the start of the course walk and are encouraged to have them available for spectators. B. All classes must hold the following meetings: 1. Officials Meeting should be held prior to the Riders Meeting. Derby Judges, Course Designer, Steward, and Competition Manager are required to meet prior to the start of the class to review the specifications, judging system and to walk the course. 2. Riders Meeting must be held prior to the start of the class. Course designer and at least one officiating Judge and Steward must attend this meeting to answer any questions regarding the course, judging system and class specifications. Attendance by the riders is suggested but not mandatory. Copies of the course(s) must be available for distribution at the Riders Meeting. C. Formal/dress attire required by riders. Buff breeches and shad belly, white breeches and dark or scarlet coat, hunt colors coat or official sponsor or team jacket permitted. XII. The USHJA International Hunter Derby and the related format and specifications are the sole properties of the USHJA and may only be held, conducted or used upon the terms and conditions specified by the USHJA. USHJA reserves the right to change language in documents related to the conduct of the USHJA International Hunter Derby as necessary for the purposes of consistency and clarity. Any deviations from the class specifications for the USHJA International Hunter Derby are not permitted without the express written permission from USHJA prior to the printing of the prize list.
