2 CLASS 7 SARACEN HORSE FEEDS INTERMEDIATE I GOLD CHAMPIONSHIP Starts 1.15pm FEI Intermediate I (2009) update 2017 HORSE HEALTH ARENA PRIZES: , rosettes to 10th place. Fletcher Trophy to the winner. Qualification for Class 15: The top 14 from class 7 will go forward to class 15. It is mandatory for any Competitor qualified for Class 15 to participate and it will be assumed that all competitors are going forward. Payment of the starting fee to compete in class 15 must be made to the Secretary s Office within one hour of the completion of the last test in class 7. In cases of any withdrawal, official notification will be required in writing at the time of withdrawal and will be forwarded to British Dressage post event for review of the reason for withdrawing. A Competitor who does not participate without a legitimate reason as deemed by British Dressage (for example illness or other unforeseen circumstances) will lose their placing and prize money from the Intermediate I. Such cancellation must be received at the Secretary s office within one hour of completion of class 7 after which the Secretary will contact the next in line. If a competitor qualifies two horses for the Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Freestyle Gold Championship they may opt to only enter one into the Freestyle, under these circumstances the cancellation policy is not applied. The Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Supreme Champion will be determined from the highest total % from classes 7 & 15. If a competitor qualifies two horses for class 11B they must find another rider for their second horse and notify the Secretary s Office. Top 4 x 5 Year Old Horses will go forward to the Final Judging (Class 12B) in the LeMieux Arena on Sunday 17 September at approx. 1.40pm. It is mandatory for any Competitor qualified for Class 12B to participate and it will be assumed that all competitors are going forward. If a competitor qualifies two horses for class 11B they must find another rider for their second horse and notify the Secretary s Office. Top 4 x 6 Year Old Horses will go forward to the Final Judging (Class 13B) in the LeMieux Arena on Sunday 17 September at approx. 2.25pm. It is mandatory for any Competitor qualified for Class 13B to participate and it will be assumed that all competitors are going forward. If a competitor qualifies two horses for class 11B they must find another rider for their second horse and notify the Secretary s Office. If required, stabling may be purchased for Saturday night on site. Withdrawals will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances e.g. illness, injury, unforeseen circumstances. CLASS 14 LEMIEUX GRAND PRIX GOLD CHAMPIONSHIP Starts 11.40am FEI Grand Prix (Edition 2009, revision 2014) update 2017 CLASS 15 Starts 2.45pm PRIZES: 500, , rosettes to 10th place. Taylor Woodrow plate to the winner National Pavilion Owners Passes: LeMieux are very kindly sponsoring 2 Nationals Pavilion Passes (valued at 37 per pass per day) for Saturday and Sunday to each competitor enabling riders to give hospitality to the owner/s of the horse entered in the LeMieux Grand Prix Championship. Qualification for Class 18: The top 10 from class 14 will go forward to class 18. It is mandatory for any Competitor qualified for Class 18 to participate and it will be assumed that all competitors are going forward. In cases of any withdrawal, official notification will be required in writing at the time of withdrawal and will be forwarded to British Dressage post event for review of the reason for withdrawing. Jean Sansome Memorial Trophy to the winner HORSE HEALTH ARENA Laura Tomlinson presents the LeMieux Master Class Presentation of the LeMieux National Dressage Champion ,000 & Trophy will be presented to the competitor with the highest total % from classes 14 & 18. Trophy to the owner of the winning horse. Prize to the groom of the winning horse. CLASS 19 CHILDERIC SADDLES ELEMENTARY GOLD CHAMPIONSHIP Starts 10.20am Elementary 59 (2010) PRIZES: , rosettes to 10th place. Updated information, entry confirmation and start times will be available on Entries will close on TUESDAY 22 AUGUST NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ENTRIES: Will only be accepted on the National Championships Entry Form if sent by post to the Entry Secretary. An A5 stamped addressed envelope with a LARGE FIRST CLASS STAMP must accompany each entry so that passes and tickets may be sent enabling access to the showground. Entries may also be made on-line by visiting POSTAL ENTRY PAYMENT: All Cheques payable to THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. TIMES 09/09/17 between 6.30pm 9.30pm by telephoning Times are also available on from 10.00am on 09/09/17. Once the time box has been ticked on the website there is no requirement to phone to confirm times. Please note that as it is a Championship all dressage times are drawn and cannot be changed. SPECIAL AWARDS Eligibility for following Special Awards must be indicated on the Entry Form at point of entry 1. BD AMATEUR OWNER/RIDER ROSETTE: To the highest placed Amateur Owner/Rider open to those riding a horse registered in their name, or that of an immediate family member, and who compete in horse sports for recreational purposes only. Integrity caveat: This award is intended to recognise genuine amateur owner/riders. Only declare for this award if you genuinely feel that you are eligible according to the spirit in which this is intended. Eligibility must be stated at the point of entry to qualify for this award. This award is not presented below 10th place in a class. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary s Office after each prize giving. 2. BEST BRITISH BRED AWARD: A rosette will be awarded by The British Bred Sport Horse (BBSH) to the highest placed British-bred horse in all championships. Only one rosette will be awarded for each of the Young Horse classes over the semi-final and final. This award is not presented below 10th place in a class. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary s Office after each prize giving. 3. TYRELL TROPHY: Kindly donated by Lady Caroline Tyrell to the highest placed British Mare at the National Dressage Championships from all Championships. In the event of equal class placing s the winner will be the mare with the higher percentage. The Tyrell Trophy will be presented at the National Convention. 4. BYRDS AWARD: BYRDS sponsor Dengie is awarding a BYRDS rosette to the highest placed rider 25 years and under in 2017 in all classes at the Championships. This award is not presented below 10th place in a class. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary s Office after each prize giving. Please note that competitors do not have to be BYRDS members to be eligible for this award. The following Special Awards will be awarded automatically and do not require declaration on the Entry Form 1. BD OWNERS AWARD: British Dressage is providing an award to the Owner of the winning horse in all Championships. In the Gold Para Dressage Championship they will be awarded to each Grade winner. The awards may be collected from the Show Secretary s Office after each prize giving. 2. THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF SADDLERS: Will very kindly be presenting a Snaffle Bridle to the winner of each of the five Para championship classes/grades. This award will be presented at the BD National Convention. 3. ALL PERPETUAL TROPHIES WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE SECRETARY S OFFICE. PRIZES AND PRIZE MONEY Prize money will be paid to the rider by BACS transfer after the show. Riders must confirm their bank details to the Show Secretary on collecting their sheets. Any prizes awarded must be collected from the Show Secretary prior to departure from the Show Ground. Prizes will not be forwarded after the Show. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS Please read these General Rules and Regulations carefully. By entering, attending, or being in any way involved in any aspect of the Show, you indicate that you accept and agree to comply with these General Rules and Regulations. 1) DEFINITIONS In these General Rules and Regulations the term Competitor refers to every Entrant and Associated Person. The term Entrant refers to all exhibitors and competitors entering the Show. The term Associated Person refers to all owners, riders, handlers, drivers, grooms, and parents / guardians of competitors under the age of 16, associates and / or supporters of Entrants. The term Show refers to the event known as the LeMeiux National Dressage Championships held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ (the Show Ground ). The term Organiser refers to British Dressage Ltd, Show Direct Ltd and all its employees, officers, representatives, volunteers and show officials. The term Show Secretary refers to Caroline Griffith or such other person as may be appointed to perform such role. The term Entry Secretary refers to Rachel Moss or such other person as may be appointed to perform such role. The term Entry Form and Stable Form refers to the forms to be completed by all Entrants.

5 2) PRACTICE JUDGING No. 3) BRIDAL NUMBER Must be worn in accordance to British Dressage Rule ) REPRESENTED CHEQUE Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subject to a 20 administration fee each time it is represented. 5) WITHDRAWALS to be made to the Show or Entry Secretary on or entries@showdirect.co.uk 6) REFUNDS OF ENTRY AND STABLE FEES A refund of 50% of the entry and / or stable fees will be made to competitors withdrawing prior to the Close of Entries on 22 August 2017, after which, any stable fee and entry fee is non-refundable. Should the Show or any competition be cancelled, for whatever reason, entry fees will be refunded less an administration fee of 5.00 per class entry, up to a maximum administration fee of 25 per Competitor. Stables fees remain non-refundable after the close of Entries. 7) MUSIC All music must be on a CD, which must be given to the Show Secretary by 10.00am on Saturday 16 September for the Inter I Freestyle or 10.00am on Sunday 17 September for the GP Freestyle. The Competitor must ensure that all music is clearly marked with horse and rider names on the box containing the disc and also on the disc itself. It is strongly advised that a second copy should also be provided. The Organiser cannot be held responsible for the quality of the recording or any mishap that may occur with the music. 8) TIMETABLE The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, alter the arena in which any competition is scheduled to take place, or amend any competition times or alter the published timetable for the Show as they deem appropriate. 9) HORSE WALK Will be open between 4.00pm till 7.00pm on Wednesday 13 September and 6.55am till 10 minutes after the final prize giving in the main arena. Outside these times the horse walk will be closed and there will be no access to either the Competition Warm Up Arena or the General Exercise Arena. Any Competitor found abusing the access times to the warm up arenas may be asked to leave the Show Ground. 10) ARENA WALK EXERCISE TIMES All arena walk exercise times are subject to amendment, times will be posted at the Show Secretary s Office and in the Stable Manager s Office. Competitors may use arena walk exercise on any day and horses are not restricted to the day of competition. All horses must have a mounted rider and with the exception of the Para dressage competitors, no horses may be led, whether with or without a mounted rider. 11) COMPETITION WARM UP ARENA The Competition Warm Up Arena will be available for exercise from 4.00pm on Wednesday 13 September until 7.00pm, after which it is available from 6.55am each morning until 10 minutes after the final prize giving in the main arena each day. Should, in the opinion of the arena steward, the Competition Warm Up Arena become congested the arena steward may ask Competitors not warming up for competition to relocate to the General Exercise Arena. Horses not competing at the Show may not exercise in the Competition Warm Up Arena. 12) GENERAL EXERCISE ARENA A designated General Exercise Arena will be available for use by Competitors. Access will be available for exercise from 4.00pm on Wednesday 13 September until 7.00pm, after which it is available from 6.55am each morning until 10 minutes after the final prize giving in the main arena each day. 13) GRASS EXERCISE ARENA The grass exercise arena (opposite the Stable Manager s Office) will be open throughout the hours of daylight. The Grass Exercise Arena is the only arena that may be used for lunging and only if the arena does not have other Competitors exercising. Competitors in class 8 will be given priority in the grass arena on Friday 15 September which will be stewarded from 6.45am 10.00am. 14) PRIZE GIVING The Organiser reserves the right to withhold prizes if Competitors do not attend or are late for the Official Prize Giving. Unless otherwise specified within the class details shown above, the top 10 Competitors will be required for each prize giving and Competitors must be mounted for all prize giving ceremonies. Competitors may have a handler to lead the horse in the prize giving if required, but the handler must be suitably dressed. Prize giving times are subject to amendment and Competitors should present themselves to the arena steward at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled prize giving time. 15) PRIZES AND PRIZE MONEY Prize money will be paid to the rider by BACS transfer after the show. Riders must confirm their bank details to the Show Secretary on collecting their sheets. Any prizes awarded must be collected from the Show Secretary prior to departure from the Show Ground. Prizes will not be forwarded after the Show. 16) SCORE SHEETS Score sheets should be collected from the Secretary s Office onsite, if due to mitigating circumstances you would like your score sheet to be posted, a 3.00 postage and administration fee will be charged, which must be paid at the Secretary s Office prior to leaving the show ground. 17) LOCATION Entrance to the Show Ground is through GATE 3 ONLY. Exit from the A46 (Warwick to Coventry dual carriageway) at the Leamington Spa, Kenilworth exit. At the roundabout at the top of the slip road take the A452 towards Leamington Spa. Turn 1st left onto B4115. Gate 3 Entrance to the Showground will be approx. 2 miles on your right. 18) SHOW GROUND ACCESS Horses may arrive on the Show Ground from 12noon on Wednesday 13 September and the Horsebox Entrance will close at 11.00pm. Access to the Show Ground will be from 6.00am 11.00pm on Show days. Outside these times the entrance will be opened for emergency access only. All competitors must have the correct passes to access the showground. Horses requiring stabling must arrive on the Show Ground before 7.00pm. Should any competitor be delayed, they must contact the Stable Manager on The Stable Managers Office will open at 7.00am and close at 7.30pm each day. Only horseboxes / trailers bringing horses and / or ponies intending to compete at the Show will be admitted to the Show Ground. 19) STABLING Temporary plastic stabling (3m x 3m) will be available on the showground. Stables must be booked on the National Championship Stabling Form and paid for in advance with the entry to the Entry Secretary. Prices and conditions are on the official stable form. It is understood by Competitors that horseboxes / trailers may be parked some distance from the stables and it is understood that it may not be possible to park Competitors who have more than one horsebox / trailer at the Championship in the same location. Stable hire is from 3.00pm 3.00pm (access from 12noon on Wednesday 13 September). Occupants are advised that stables must be vacated on time so that incoming horses may be stabled. Stables should be skipped out and left clean and tidy ready for the following occupant. Lighting is not provided within the stables. Any damage caused to stables will be charged to the hirer. 20) HORSES STABLED ON VEHICLES Horses may not be stabled in horseboxes / trailers. A Competitor deemed by the Organiser to be stabling their horse / pony in such a way will be asked to leave the Show Ground. 21) UNAUTHORISED USE OF STABLES Any Competitor who enters or makes use of any stable that has not been officially reserved or allocated for their use will be liable for a fine of 140 per stable. 22) STABLE BEDDING Although bedding may be in the stable allocated to the Competitor from previous occupants, no bedding whatsoever is provided with the hire of the stable. Natural Flake Shavings may be purchased from the Stable Mangers Office at 6.50 per bale between 10.00am and 7.00pm. Straw is not permitted in stables. 23) HAYLAGE High Fibre Baillie Haylage will be available to purchase on site from the Stable Managers at 6.50 per bag between 10.00am and 7.00pm. 24) STORAGE OF BEDDING & FODDER No hay, fodder or any flammable materials may be stored by the Competitor next to or underneath their horsebox and should be stored within their vehicles. Should the Competitor fail to comply with this requirement they may be asked to leave the Show Ground.

6 25) VACCINATION CERTIFICATE All horses and ponies at the Show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse or pony found without a valid certificate will not be permitted to remain at the Show. 26) HORSEBOX ELECTRICAL HOOK UP A limited number of 6amp electrical hook ups are available for horseboxes at a cost of 96 (inc VAT) per hook up for the period that the Competitor is staying in the Show Ground. Competitors must have a 16amp (blue socket) extension cable to connect to the socket supplied by the Organiser. It is the responsibility of the Competitor to ensure that all their cables and electrical equipment comply with current electrical regulations. Competitors must ensure that all electrical items in their horseboxes have a current PAT Certificate. Whilst the Organiser endeavour to supply the hook up booked the Organiser does not guarantee a constant supply throughout the Show, nor do we accept any responsibility for losses and / or discomfort occurring as a result of a break in the supply provided. Electrical connection must be booked on the Official Stable Form by 22 August 2017 and is on a strictly first come basis. 27) GENERATORS Competitors may have generators in the horsebox parking areas providing they are moderately sized and do not reach a noise or emission level whereby, in the opinion of the Organiser, they become a nuisance. The Competitor is responsible to ensure that any generator complies with all health and safety regulations and users must adhere to the re-fuelling procedure set out in the Organiser s document: - P 04 Re-fuelling vehicles and Equipment which is available on-site from the Stable Managers Office or in advance by request to the Organiser. All generators must be turned off between the hours of 11.00pm and 8.00am. 28) LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) Bottled gas may be used in conjunction with fitted living accommodation within horseboxes sited in the lorry park; however, it is the responsibility of the Competitor to ensure that all gas bottles are fitted correctly and that all appliances are fitted to the gas bottle through approved pipework. 29) FIRE EXTINGUISHERS All vehicles must be equipped with an appropriate fire extinguisher to conform to Local Authority Regulations. 30) VEHICLES The Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access (even if locked and unattended) and the Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 31) VEHICLES REQUIRING TOWING Should any vehicle become stuck on soft ground while in the Show Ground the Competitor must contact an official immediately who will arrange for the vehicle to be towed onto hard standing. The Organiser reserves the right to charge the Competitor if, in the opinion of the Organiser, excess damage is done to the ground by the Competitor prior to requesting the towing service or by not waiting for the towing service to arrive. The Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damaged howsoever caused while the Organisers agents are in the process of towing any vehicle. 32) CAR ACCESS TO THE SHOWGROUND Cars without passes must be parked in the public car park and will not be permitted entry at the Horsebox Entrance or Public Pay Gates. Cars with Competitor Car / Lorry Passes must be parked in the designated car park and will not be permitted in the stable area or horsebox parking area. 33) MOTORBIKES, SCOOTERS, BICYCLES AND QUAD BIKES Except for authorised official vehicles used by the Organiser, motorbikes, scooters, bicycles or quad bikes are not permitted at the Show. Disability vehicles are permitted. 34) SMOKING Is not permitted within any building or marquee on the Show Ground or within the stable area. 35) BARBEQUES No barbeques are permitted in the Show Ground. 36) DOGS Are permitted in the Show Ground, but must be kept under control and on a lead at all times. If in the opinion of the Organiser, any person fails to control their dog/s they may be asked to leave the Show Ground. 37) OBJECTIONS Any objections should be made in writing in accordance to British Dressage Rule ) OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHS It is understood and agreed by Competitors that any photographs (and / or film footage) taken at the Show by an official photographer may be used by the Organiser for security and / or promotional purposes without payment. 39) FARRIER & VETERINARY SURGEON The services of a farrier and vet are only available On Call. Competitors are responsible for any costs occurred in making such call outs. 40) LEMIEUX WELCOME PARTY Located in the Sponsors Marquee from 6.30pm 8.00pm on Friday 15 September. All are invited for drinks and canapés. 41) STONELEIGH PARK LODGE HOTEL Positioned within the show ground, the Stoneleigh Park Lodge Hotel will be open from 6.00pm 9.30pm each night to provide evening meals for anyone staying on-site whether or not they are resident at the hotel. A licensed bar is available in the Hotel from 6.00pm 11.00pm each night. 42) STABLE AREA CATERING A mobile catering outlet will be sited in the stable area and open from 12noon 8.00pm on Wednesday and 7.00am 11.00am on show days. 43) ACCOMMODATION For accommodation in the local area visit 44) COMPETITOR CARAVANS & CAMPING There is no charge to competitors competing at the Championships who, rather than use live-in horseboxes wish to bring a caravan or camp on the Show Ground. Competitors should indicate their intention to bring a caravan or tent on the Official Stable Form and should contact the Stable Manager upon arrival. Electric is not available for tents. Caravans or tents may not be located next to the competitor s horsebox or horse trailer. 45) RADIO NATIONALS Radio Nationals will be broadcasting on all show days during the Championships. Dedicated radio headsets may be purchased at the Show from the Secretary s Office or the British Dressage trade stand. 46) CASH POINT There is no cash point on the show ground. 47) COMPETITOR GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS Free admission passes are provided to the Competitor as follows: - 1 x 4 day general admission competitor wristlet per rider entered to compete. Plus 1 x 4 day general admission competitor wristlet for additional personnel for each horse entered to compete. 2 x 4 day general admission competitor wristlets will be provided for each non riding owner (British Dressage members only and the registration numbers must be included with the Entry Form). 2 x Competitor Lorry / Car Passes will be sent to the competitor with 2 horses or fewer entered in competition. 3 x Competitor Lorry / Car Passes will be sent to the competitor with 3 horses entered in competition. 4 x Competitor Lorry / Car Passes will be sent to the competitor with 4 horses or more entered in competition. Car passes do not gain access to the show ground without the occupants having wristlets. Cars may not be parked in the horsebox park. All requirements must be clearly stated on the Entry Form. Any replacement wristlets will be charged at the standard rates. Any other tickets may be purchased as detailed below.

Parking in the public car park is free. 50) NATIONALS PAVILION Relax and enjoy the social occasion of the Championships alongside the dressage spectacle of the main arena. ADVANCED TICKETS PER PERSON Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 4 Day Per Person Each National Pavilion Ticket includes access to the ringside Nationals Pavilion, free tea, coffee, orange juice or water throughout the day, plus one VIP Forward Car Pass per two Nationals Pavilion Tickets. Seating is available within the Nationals Pavilion, but is based on a first come first served basis. Dress code is smart casual. There will be a public pay bar and cold platters & lunchtime snacks available for purchase. National Pavilion Tickets do not give access to the show ground, separate Admission Tickets must be purchased. 51) UNCOVERED GRANDSTANDS AND SEATING All uncovered ringside seats are free on all days of the Championships. 52) COVERED GRANDSTANDS A limited number of covered grandstand seats are available at the C end of the LeMieux Arena with a view over the Judges. All covered grandstand tickets are sold on a first come first served basis and may be booked in advance with general admission tickets. Covered Grandstand Tickets do not give access to the show ground, separate Admission Tickets must be purchased. COVERED GRANSTAND TICKETS Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 4 Day Per Person ) PUBLIC HORSEBOX / CARAVAN / CAMPING SITE Anyone not competing at the Show but wishing to stay on site near to the stable area in a horsebox, caravan or tent and soak up all the atmosphere of the show should apply for an on-site Caravan Pass. a) 4 Day Caravan / Tent Pass per site. This includes two x four day adult general admission wristlets. Arrival is from 12noon on Wednesday 13 September. b) 2 Day Caravan / Tent Pass per site. This includes two x adult general admission wristlets for Saturday & Sunday. Arrival is from 5.00pm on Friday 15 September. Electrical hook up for either 2 Day or 4 Day Caravan Passes is available at 96 (inc. VAT) per 16 amp blue socket hook up. 8 54) TICKET REFUNDS Refund information is available in the Show Ground Admission Terms & Conditions, which may be viewed at www. bdchampionships.com or at the main public entrance to the Show Ground. 55) LOST PROPERTY All lost property during the show will be located at the Secretary s Office. Any inquiries regarding lost property following the conclusion of the Show should be made to Elaine at elaine@showdirect.co.uk. 56) RESPONSIBILITY The Organiser shall not under any circumstances be responsible for any loss, injury, illness or damage to (whether or not foreseeable and howsoever caused), or any theft from, any Competitor, any horse or other animal, any vehicle, or any other property whatsoever in the Show Ground, provided that nothing shall exclude or limit the Organiser s liability for the death of or personal injury to any person caused by its negligence or that of its employees or agents. Any items brought into the Show Ground or left in vehicles or tack lockers (whether locked or not) are at the Competitor s own risk. Competitors shall take such steps as are necessary to secure their property whilst in the Show Ground. Competitors are responsible for ensuring that their horses are in good health and each Competitor shall take all necessary steps to prevent the contracting or spread of any disease or illness at the Show. Competitors will be responsible for reimbursing the Organiser for all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or resulting losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by the Organiser arising out of or in connection with any breach of these Rules and Regulations by the Competitor or anyone under the control of the Competitor. All Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may not be left at the Show unaccompanied. Each Entrant will be considered responsible in all respects for the acts and/or failures to act of their Associated Persons. The Entrant shall be responsible for the consequences of any infringement by its Associated Persons of these Rules and Regulations. Competitors are personally responsible for ensuring that they take all necessary measures with regards to health and safety. Upon any entry to a competition at the Show each Competitor acknowledges that he/she is taking part in a risk sport and represents that he/she is a competent rider at the level of competition in which he/she has entered. Competitors who suffer a fall or any other injury whilst on in the Show Ground must report the fall / injury to the Show Secretary. Competitors shall comply with any reasonable instructions given to them by the Organiser or Stoneleigh Park Ltd. 57) INSURANCE Competitors are personally responsible for damage to: any buildings, land, equipment, or other property in the Show Ground; or to any third persons caused by the Competitor, their employees, their agents, or their horses / ponies. It is strongly advised that Competitors have in force third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in and attendance at the Show. 58) ADDITIONAL FEES The Organiser reserves the right to charge an additional fee to Competitors should extraordinary circumstances arise which require procedures to be implemented that would not normally be anticipated or expected, but were considered by the Organiser to be in the best interests for the wellbeing of either Competitors, horses and animals, general public and / or the successful running of the Championships. Any additional fee will be agreed with the consent of the governing body. 59) REMOVAL FROM THE SHOW If any Competitor or animal is considered by the Organiser to be behaving in a manner that is disruptive to other persons or animals present at the Show, the Organiser retains at its absolute discretion the right to exclude or remove said Competitor or animal from the Show and also refuse admission or decline entry to future Shows. Where such measures are applied to an Entrant, the Organiser will consult with the Chief Executive of British Dressage. The Organiser will not be liable to the Competitor for any compensation in relation to either exclusion or removal from the Show, or declining an entry to the Show. 60) OTHER TERMS If any court declares that any provision of these Rules and Regulations is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the provision will, to that extent, be severed from the remaining provisions, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law. These Rules and Regulations are governed by English law. The Organiser and Competitor both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
