1 Welcome to the SECOND day of our NLEC Spring Series There are a few changes to the way we will set up the arenas this competition due to the Rangiora A and P show being held Fri and Sat the following week. Please read the following very carefully. We will be setting up the two grass arenas on the area behind the all weather arenas. This will mean that for this competition there will be a reduced amount of warm up adjacent to the all weather arenas. There is plenty of warm up area on the Polo fields, which is likely to be sectioned off into rings in preparation for the show. We suggest that you warm up on the polo fields before making your way up to the arena area maybe 20 minutes prior to your allocated riding time, where there will be a smaller area to continue warming up. The rings on the polo fields are rings for the horse events at the show. They are approx 75 x 125m in size. Please be sensible when warming up and do not crowd into the same area. We have access to the whole polo fields. There is masses of space. Parking will be as previous, behind and alongside the polo fields. Please make sure you keep clean up any spilt hay and horse poo when you depart so the showgrounds are left as you found them. This is particularly important this competition if we are able to keep this date in our equestrian calender. Gates will open approx 7:00am, entrance off Coldstream Road Please be encouraged to bring a plate to share and enjoy the friendly atmosphere around the clubhouse. We want everyone to have a fun day. If we need to postpone for any reason notice will be given on and on the North Loburn Equestrian Centre and my personal facebook pages. Please check if unsure. This is a massive day for us we want the day to run as smoothly as possible, we aim for everyone to have a stress free fun day. 1

If you look at the draw and now find you are wanting/able to write please get in touch. Pretty please for writers. It s a great way to learn. Juliet Edwards and Kay McEwan to pop in and out between riding classes 7&8 and afterwards Collecting sheets from the judges cars and bringing them to the office on a regular basis is ALWAYS appreciated Back numbers to be collected from the Rangiora Pony Club clubhouse. Please return them to the box at the end of your classes and put them in numerical order if you have a spare moment. 2
