second row and is not a priority 15. VEGA WIC - Needs imperatively to be held up but has a creditable turn of foot. Not better than fifth in six starts with Franck Nivard (12) BARBUE is dropping back in class here today. She finished second to Comtesse Du Chenet at Caen earlier this month and a repeat of that performance could well be good enough here today. Disqualified last time out (6) BIXENTE was in good form before that and must be respected. (13) TRESOR DU FAN and (15) VEGA WIC are two more to consider. (12) BARBUE - (6) BIXENTE - (13) TRESOR DU FAN - (15) VEGA WIC

Race 2 1. ATHOS DU MANOLET - Inside draw on the first tier. Decent fourth on penultimate start over course and distance (1'18''1) behind Amazone des Iris but was barefoot 2. BRILLANT MADRIK - Probably less room for manœuvre after six victories in a row. Off since last June and could need the race 3. BERLIOZ DELO - Right-handed tracks specialist who will be more competitive unshod on all four (11/16 on the podium including five wins) 5. VITTORIA SHAN - Lacklustre last two starts but was irreproachable before in the provinces. Not the same without her shoes 6. BE KING - In ascending form in his new stable and is unshod behind here. AMAZONE DES IRIS - Will have more to offer unshod on all four and can set the record straight. 1/2 on the podium over course and distance (1'17''7) 9. UVEO DU MAZA - Inside draw on the second tier. Brave horse who acts better in amateur events and seldom wins. Not a priority 10. UFANIA DES BRETTES - In dubious form but is totally barefoot for the third times of her career (fourth and sixth) 11. AZDROWIA - Really better unshod on all four and is only a secondary chance against rivals like these 12. VAL DE VILLETOT - Not a model of consistency but can't be completely neglected for the minor money 13. ANAR DE JOUDES - Needs imperatively to be held up but has a creditable turn of foot. Has not won since July AVENIR D'OR - Very disappointing this year and needs to show improvement. Tough task 15. VERTIGO DU KLAU - Now trained by Pierrick Le Moel after Regis Le Vexier. (8) AMAZONE DES IRIS is racing without shoes today and has went well over course and distance before so must be respected. (2) BRILLANT MADRIK and (16) BYE BYE PARIS are two more for the short list. (13) ANAR DE JOUDES is next best. (4) BERLIOZ DELO - (8) AMAZONE DES IRIS - (2) BRILLANT MADRIK - (16) BYE BYE PARIS - (13) ANAR DE JOUDES

CYAN DU BUISSON - Well beaten last time out over course after a decent third place in the provinces between Colombe Vrie and Captain Aventure 4. CLASSIC DES CHAMPS - Often placed in the shakeup but seldom wins. Beat four of today's rivals on penultimate start at Agen 5. CABALE D'ENFER - Has just got back in the winner's circle at this track over 2150m (1'17''1) in front of Captain Best. Unshod in front here 6. CONCERTO DES DUNES - Right-handed tracks specialist who has run a lot of since is trained by Emmanuel Varin. Runner-up and third totally barefoot 14. CACHOU NARCY - Reassuring recently at Beaumont-de-Lomagne after five disqualifications in a row. Will try to reproduce same effort 15. CASTELLO FABULET - Maybe exhausted after a lot of races this year and is still unproven unshod in front (2/2 failures) 16. CAPTAIN AVENTURE - Really well-bred. Could have more to offer unshod on all four (4/9 on the podium)

Third at Amiens earlier this month (4) CLASSIC DES CHAMPS had a few of today's rivals behind him when runner up at Agen-Le-Passage last month. He gets a tentative vote to record his sixth career success today. (6) COLOMBE VRIE is well capable on her day and cannot be discounted here. (5) CABALE D'ENFER and (7) COUSIN HUB are two more to consider. (2) CYRUS DU CAP VERT is next best. (4) CLASSIC DES CHAMPS - (6) COLOMBE VRIE - (5) CABALE D'ENFER - (7) COUSIN HUB - (2) CYRUS DU CAP VERT

Race 4 1. DOUNGA SPORT - Two victories and a disqualification unshod on all four. Needs to prove herself at this higher grade 2. DJACKPOT DE VIVOIN - Right-handed tracks specialist who is a model of consistency. Has already scored twice over course 4. DIAPASON DE PADD - All or nothing with him. DOUDOU BARAKA - His last win was over course and distance in 1'18''4 (September 15) beating five of today's rivals 6. DARUS D'OCCAGNES - Moves down in class and has been prepared for this event which is perfectly entered 11. DAME DENFERT - Has a 25m handicap. At her best right now and beat three of today's rivals when easily scored on October 1 at Agen 12. DELMON DE BLONDEL - Model of consistency who has just got back in the winner's circle over course and distance (1'18''). Remains shod 13. DIESIS DU GOUTIER - Brave horse who has already done well against higher rivals. Could be suited by righ-handed comeback 14. DOULOUREUSE - Experienced with her apprentice but remains shod and should quietly race 15. DORIA DESBOIS - Has a 50m handicap. Ran verry well recently over Vincennes 2850m (1'13''5) but will have easier tasks than this one The one that might have a stronger chance than some of the others here is (10) DARUS D'OCCAGNES who is such a hugely consistent sort and certainly knows where the lollipop stick is too and can make it career win number five today. (14)

DOULOUREUSE can greet the judge in second place. (13) DIESIS DU GOUTIER and (4) DIAPASON DE PADD for the frame. (10) DARUS D'OCCAGNES - (14) DOULOUREUSE - (13) DIESIS DU GOUTIER - (4) DIAPASON DE PADD

ESOS - The sole to have a 25m handicap. Romped home last two times in this category and is clearly the one to beat An animal in form must always be followed and such is the wellbeing of (10) ESOS that the colt must be followed after two well earned victories at both Grenade-sur-Garonne and at this venue in his last two events. He can grab the hat trick here. (6) ENZO MESLOIS looks best of the others which include (7) ESPERANZA IDOLE and (5) ESQUINAZO DE LOU. (10) ESOS - (6) ENZO MESLOIS - (7) ESPERANZA IDOLE - (5) ESQUINAZO DE LOU

Race 6 1. DOMINO BLOND - Inside draw on the first tier. More competitive under the saddle and unshod on all four 2. DIXIE DU CAPMAY - First, third, fourth and nineth since is unshod on all four. His best titles are on grass and is not a priority 13. DIABLESSE JISCE - Again unshod on all four but is more competitive in claimers. Not going to be easy 14. DOC DE DRAOU - Off since July 14 when was very disappointing at Beaumont-de-Lomagne but was irreproachable before 15. DISCOPOLYS IDOLE - Got set the record straight latest at this track over 2950m (1'17''5) after three ridden disqualifications in a row 16. DUNE DE LA ROQUE - Acts better without her shoes and not going to be easy on the second tier. Tough task

(4) DENICHEUR DU VIF broke his duck last time out at Vire and did it a fashion that promised much more to come down the line so today is a good place to start. The price should be workable too. (2) DIXIE DU CAPMAY can make it a solid forecast. (6) DELCO DU BAS BOSQ and (8) DUC D'AIROU can have a say in front of (15) DISCOPOLYS IDOLE. (4) DENICHEUR DU VIF - (2) DIXIE DU CAPMAY - (6) DELCO DU BAS BOSQ - (8) DUC D'AIROU - (15) DISCOPOLYS IDOLE

Race 7 1. DOLLY DESBOIS - Inside draw on the first tier. Right-handed tracks specialist who is very reliable in this category. Only unshod in front here 2. Third twice totally barefoot and has just beaten Duck de l'isop 12. DIVA DE L'AUMOY - Soundly beaten last time out for her new stable but is unshod on all four here (not better than fourth five starts) 13. DAITA DU LUDE - Unconvincing recently and is maybe exhausted after a lot of races this year. Only a secondary chance 14. DOUBLETTA - Now trained by Xavier Thielens after Alexandre Buisson. Moves down in class but remains shod. Runner-up and fourth on right-handed tracks 15. DAK OLDACK - Has some abilities but looks held by few rivals on class alone. Not a priority 16. DAISY DU TRUFIER - Right-handed tracks specialist who is still a maiden in fifteen attempts. Possible upsetter with good trip

There may be a large volume of runners going to post but a wise man once said '' the bigger the field the bigger the certainty''. There is no sch thing of course as a certainty but (1) DOLLY DESBOIS surely makes any amount of appeal here. She is improving fast. (6) DELMONICA DE LOU might get second ahead of (7) DUNE D'OURVILLE and (4) DARIO CADENCE with (11) DON DE TEVA following on. (1) DOLLY DESBOIS - (6) DELMONICA DE LOU - (7) DUNE D'OURVILLE - (4) DARIO CADENCE - (11) DON DE TEVA

Race 8 1. AFILITOSA - Inside draw on the first tier. Less room for manœuvre now but is the fastest over course and distance (1'17''2) 2. BRUNO BAKALAO - Honourable fifth latest over Bordeaux 2550m (1'16''3) with his apprentice between Baroudeur du Caux and Banjo d'or 14. AMANDINA - Very disappointing since last August and needs to show improvement. Difficult to recommend 15. BLASON VIVANCIERE - Clear third for his new stable well in front of Bago Sport. Has again a word to say 16. BANJO D'OR - Right-handed tracks specialist who has no room for manœuvre now. Probably exhausted after a lot of races this year

This has a pretty wide open look to it but the one taken against the field is (8) BAROUDEUR DU CAUX. The selection eventually got back into the winner's enclosure last time at Bordeau Le Bouscat and perhaps can follow up now. (5) BRUN DE BENAC will have plenty to say as will (11) ALCIMEDE and (6) BOYLOTIN. (7) ALMA DU RIB cannot be discounted either. (8) BAROUDEUR DU CAUX - (5) BRUN DE BENAC - (11) ALCIMEDE - (6) BOYLOTIN - (7) ALMA DU RIB

Race 9 1. VRAIMENT MAJYC - Has clearly won the least prize-money and is in dubious form. Tricky read 2. ARIA DE MAI - Has really a patchy form and her last win was in ridden amateur event. Always unshod on all four 3. VALAWI - Brave horse who is very consistent since is trained by Guillaume Riviere. Back under the saddle (two wins and seven failures in nine starts) 4. BACCARA DE TUNIS - Decent winner on his late ridden debut over Enghien 2875m (1'16''5). First-rate chance repeating last efforts 5. BEAUTIFUL DUSSAC - Made zero impact for a long time and can be neglected without risks. Only watch 6. BRIGADOON - Ridden specialist who is on the rise after three months off. Podium chance without his shoes 7. USHUAIA D'ISOP - Badly entered on the second row. Less room for manœuvre now with her earnings and is probably exhausted after a lot of races this year 8. PERFECT POWER - Taking time to find his best form after health problems and was disqualified on his sole ridden attempt. Difficult to consider 14. UROS DE L'EXTREME - No room for manœuvre now remaining shod and is unproven in his new stable. Not going to be easy 15. VERY HAPPY - At his best right now but remains shod and is still unproven under the saddle. Could have other next targets This closing contest in a busy day can go to the likely favourite (4) BACCARA DE

TUNIS who did it reasonably well when scoring at Enghien earlier in the month and a repeat of that performance should see him get the better of (6) BRIGADOON who rattled up a hat trick in the first part of this year. (12) ULTRA TIVOLI and (8) VICTORIA WILLIAMS look strong for places. (4) BACCARA DE TUNIS - (6) BRIGADOON - (12) ULTRA TIVOLI - (8) VICTORIA WILLIAMS
