2 Conditions Of Sale 1. All sheep presented are registered, or eligible for Registration in the Flock Book of the Bluefaced Leicester Association, and are marked with the Associations official yellow ear-tag. This bears the breeders flock no, the year letter and the animal s individual number. 2. The exhibitor is the breeder unless otherwise stated. Flock Prefix name is in capitals. 3. Animals marked in the catalogue are Two-Shear or over. 4. All sheep will be sold in the order catalogued, with the exceptions of: (a) the Champion, which can come anywhere in the exhibitors run of sheep and (b) the first few lots, if unsold may (at the discretion of the exhibitor) re-enter the ring after the Lot No. specified. 5. Please note: details of breeding are genotype should be confirmed with the breeder, preferable before purchase, as no liability for error or misinformation can be accepted by the compiler of the catalogue, the organisers of the sale, the Bluefaced Leicester Association or the Mart. 6. Purchasers must satisfy themselves as the correctness of any animal for which they bid, which will be their responsibility at the fall of the hammer. 7. A red spot on the shoulder indicated the Inspector considers the mouth is marginally incorrect. A red spot on the hip indicates marginal incorrectness in the testicles. Both faults will be intimated to the Auctioneer by the Exhibitor and announced as the animal enters the ring. 8. All disputes are a matter to be resolved between the vendor and purchaser. 9. Upset price for males 300, females 250 Vendors Conditions of Warranty: I. If any ram is proved incapable of or ineffective at natural service and is to be returned by the purchaser to the vendor, it must be returned in reasonable condition not later than December 5th. No claim on the vendor to exceed the purchase price of the sheep. II. Any female should be guaranteed free of lamb at time of sale unless otherwise stated. Any female animal to be returned should be returned by January 5th in reasonable condition. No claim should excel the purchase price of the animal.
