1 Registration Package UCIC/AGF Southern Zones/AGF Trials to Westerns Thursday, March 16, 2017 to Sunday March 19, 2017 WHO: - ARTISTIC WOMEN: UCIC JO 1 10, Aspire 1 and 2 Southern Zones JO Levels 4 7 Trials to Westerns JO Levels 8-10, Aspire 1 & 2 This year the Southern Zones and Trials to Westerns will be hosted in conjunction with UCIC. For JO 1-7 levels all the clubs will register their athlete in the UCIC categories (differentiated by age groups). Athlete s competing in SOUTHERN ZONES will register in the same categories as UCIC and will be separated for Southern Zones results and awards in the SportzSoft system. For Trials to Westerns the registration categories are separated. EVERYONE who registers for Trials to Westerns will be automatically entered to UCIC competition. Athletes who do not wish to participate in Trials to Westerns, (and the out of province clubs) should register in UCIC JO 8-10 and UCIC Aspire 1, 2 categories. The Southern Zones and Trials to Western Competition format, results and awards will be sanctioned by AGF. - ARTISTIC MEN: Provincial Levels 1 5, Elite 1-4, Junior 14-15, Junior Open and Senior The MAG competition will be run similar to previous years. We recommend registering early as the competition will fill fast and space is limited. Please note there will be 25 maximum limit for JO 1-3 categories. 3 Gymnastics waiver form: Please see the registration page for the link to print the UCIC gymnastics waiver form. Every participant must fill in and return the waiver by February 15, Please remit cheques and waivers (no later then February 15, 2017) to: UNOCALGYM Parents Association KNA104, 2500 University Drive NW Calgary, AB T2N 1N4 Attention: University of Calgary International Cup MEET FEE: (payment must be received no later than February 15, 2017) Artistic Women JO 4-10 Artistic Women JO 1-3 Artistic Men Coaches $140 per athlete $90 per athlete $140 per athlete $50 per coach Note: Refunds will be given minus a $25 administration fee up until Feb 01, After Feb 1, 2017 refunds will only be given for medical reasons and the $25 administration fee still applies, a refund request must be in writing and accompanied by a doctor s certificate. All refunds will be processed the week following the competition. Large Medals Events 1st 3rd place A.G.F. Small Medals All-Around & Events 4th 8th place A.G.F. Ribbons Teams (JO 4-7) 1st 3rd place Plaques JO 6-7 Qualifications for Provincial Championships: TRIALS TO WESTERNS awards: 65% of athletes in each level and age category will be qualified to participate at Provincial Championships JO8, JO9(11-13y), JO9 (14+y), JO10(12-15y), JO10(16+y) Qualifications: Top seven (7) will qualify to be an Alberta Team member. Canadian Aspire 1 and Aspire 2 Qualifications: Top five (5) athletes will qualify to be an Alberta Team member. All-Around 1st 3rd place A.G.F. Large Medals Events 1st 3rd place A.G.F.
