6 PRE-SEASON MEETINGS Dear all, a new season is about to get under way and like in the previous years, there will be some extra meetings and things to do in order to get ready for the new winter. Meetings Thursday, 24th of November 18:30 TCM with distribution of big bibs, Konttainen-Valtavaara room 19:30 Athletes Meeting, Konttainen-Valtavaara room Friday, 25th of November 16:30 Media Mingler (Top 2 WC athletes, VIP Tent) 17:00 World Cup Opening Ceremony with bib distribution for the Top 5 WC athletes, stage in front of Rantasipi Hotel (Meeting Point: Lobby Hotel Rantasipi, time will be communicated in Athletes Meeting) Photo shooting Like last year, a photo shooting with Nordic Focus in order to take portrait pictures for the TV graphics and industry partners will take place from Wednesday until Friday. It will again be located in a marked cabin in the cross-country service compound. 9 2. Race Office The Race Office is located in Hotel Rantasipi Congress Centre Opening times: daily from 09:00 to 19:00. Sub-Race Offices located in the SJ and XC compounds; open Fri - Sun from 10:00 to 15: Accommodation Booking according the FIS Rules via FIS Online registration system The OC offers following accommodation (full board included): Three star hotel Rantasipi Rukahovi next to the venue: 105 per person in double room, 140 single Three star apartments (RukaTonttu, RukaSuites, AurinkoRinne, RukaVillage, Rantasipi apartments) next to the venue: 105 per person (minimum number of persons) Additional information about accommodation will be given to the teams after receiving the preliminary entries and accommodation requests Price for additional accommodation outside of the quota: 115 per person in double room or apartment (minimum number of persons) Price for additional single rooms outside of the quota: Transport Official airport: Kuusamo and Oulu. The organizing committee will arrange transportation between the airports and the hotels. 1 transport (from and to the airport) free of charge. Payments Accommodation costs: Persons from the pay lists will be paid by the OC directly. For additional rooms, the teams will pay directly in the Accommodation Office until the 25th of November. Cash and credit cards accepted. Carrying costs/reimbursement: Expenses sheets will be received in financial office during the race weekend or by elina.borgenstrom@hiihtoliitto.fi. All payments will be done by electronically by bank transfer. 6. Waxing Facilities Wax cabins: available from 21/11/2016 at 12:00 Waxing trucks: teams arriving with trucks have to inform the OC until 14/10/2016 with exact measurements of the truck and details of the needs The keys to the cabins are available at the competition office. The deposit is 100 /team. Keys return to Ski Cafe/Service Area on the day of departure. Parking cards can be picked up at the Race Office together with the keys.!9

10 T 7. Radio Equipment Regulations The import, export and the operation of radio equipment in Finland is regulated by national law. Permits for the use of radio transmission equipment must be requested according to national specifications. Further information: 8. Visa Regulations Remember that citizens of some countries will need visa for visiting Finland. Please check with your embassy if you need a visa for Finland. For an official letter of invitation, please send a request to kev@rukanordic.com. 9. Accommodation Booking according the FIS Rules via the FIS Online registration system The OC offers accommodation for all Nordic Combined Teams at the Birkebeineren Hotel & Apartments located close to the Ski Jumping Hill read more Accommodation costs: The OC will pay for persons within the quota according to FIS Rules. Persons outside quota and outside the competition period will pay directly to the hotel. Price per person: CHF 125 per person in single or double room with full board. 4. Transport Official airport: Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The organizing committee will provide transportation between the airport and the hotels in Lillehammer. 1 transport (from and to the airport) free of charge. Price for additional transport: 30 / person (one way). Shuttle service The organizing committee will provide shuttle transport between the hotels and the Birkebeineren Cross Country Stadium and the Lysgaardsbakken Ski Jumping Hill.!14

Due to a special tax convention between Norway and USA and Russia, income tax will not be deducted by the OC the income shall be taxable only in the State of which the sportsman is a resident. For other athletes, tax will be deducted by the OC according to the Norwegian Foreign Artist Taxation Act, and taxes will be paid by the OC according to the regular tax legislation in Norway. 10. A fine of up to may apply for unregistered radios. Please make sure to fill out the attached registration form and send it back to fb.graz@bmvit.gv.at. Representatives of the authority will be on location during the World Cup to check if all radios are registered! 8. The trouble free operation of radio systems and telecommunications equipment within Austria is our concern and our statutory duty under the Telecommunications Act 2003 (TKG 2003). To ensure trouble free operation of radio systems, make sure that all used frequencies are coordinated and the operation of such radio systems are approved by the Telecommunications authority. Especially at major events in metropolitan areas, we need our regulatory law, and our right to intervene if necessary to comply consistently with unauthorized radio systems operated in the interest of all spectrum users. The operation of radio stations in Austria is generally subject to approval. Excluded from a general understanding that only permits individual authorized radio systems. For example CB radio (FSB LN001), SRD radio (FSB LD074) or radio microphones (FSB LD048). Please remember that the operation may cause radio systems without frequency coordination and upright operation permit harmful interference to other stations and therfore inadmissible. We are mandated by law to take illegally operated radio systems out of service and confiscate in a row. Thereupon, an administrative penalty procedure is done with a fine of up to 4 000, including the forfeiture of the radio system to the public authority ( 109 TKG). Accommodation Booking according the FIS Rules via FIS Online registration system until the 15 th of November The number of double and single rooms and arrival/ departure days must be communicated. Please note that O.C. cannot guarantee for rooms or prices after this date. As soon as The Official Incoming Agency will receive the requests, a detailed offer will be sent to NSA. The OC is not responsible for teams wishing to take care of their own accommodation. Until the 20 th of December 2016, the NSAs have to specify their final accommodation requests including exact numbers, room types and arrival/ departure. Teams/athletes will be accommodated in hotels *** (or ** on request if available) of a good standard in the villages of Val di Fiemme, from 5 to max 20 minutes by car from the venues. The LOC has a good cooperation with the hotels and can assure an adequate accommodation especially adjusted to the needs of the athletes and teams. The hotels are adapted to the needs of the athletes, especially regarding the selection of food and times for meals served at the hotel. Three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) per day will be served at the hotel, with a sufficient quantity of food and 1 soft drink per meal. Price for accommodation over quota: EUR/pers in a twin room. Double room for single occupant + 30 %. For booked room reservation not used, the organizer has the right to demand a cancellation fee from the National Ski Associations. 34 HOW TO REACH US: By car: 1. Val di Fiemme can be easily reached via the A22 highway, exit Egna/Ora and then along the SS 48 Dolomite, Cavalese direction. Close to Castello di Fiemme go on through the main road (SP232), direction Predazzo. Tu r n r i g h t a t t h e crossroad in Lago di Tesero and follow the signs to the Nordic Ski Stadium. 2. Leave the Highway Venezia/Ponte delle Alpi (A27) at the exit Belluno and drive to Agordo (SS203). G o i n g o n u p t o Falcade, you reach Passo San Pellegrino (SS346) and then follow the signs up to Moena where you take the road Statale delle Dolomiti (SS48 that leads to Predazzo). Go along the main road (SP232) and turn left at the crossroad in Lago di Tesero (about 5 Km far from Predazzo) and follow directions to the Nordic Ski Stadium. By Train: From the South, you can choose between the stations of Trento (Province chief town) or of Ora (for the latter are excluded IC, EC and Eurostar); from the North, drop to Bolzano. By Bus: The connection to Val di Fiemme is then ensured by an efficient public bus service, departing from the above mentioned stations.!34

Follow the road until the big spectator parking lot. From West: A12, exit Telfs Ost, continue on Hans-Liebherr-Straße, at the roundabout, take the first exit and drive over the Telfer Berg through Mösern. Stay on the Möserer Dorfstraße, you ll see the spectator parking lot on the right side.!44

Take the exit Seefeld Nord and stay on the Müchnerstraße until the intersection at Hotel Central. Turn right and drive on until you see the Stern Residenz. Turn left and continue on past the Seefelder Seekirchl. At the intersection at the WM-Halle, follow the signs to the spectator parking lot. 5. Dragon Valley hotel; 4 km from Alpensia Ski Jumping and Cross Country skiing Centre, 10 minutes by shuttle bus. Hotel Information: Times: Check-in : 15:00 / Check-out : 12:00, Early Check-in : impossible / Late Check-out : 10,000 KRW per hour from 12:00 to 15:00 Price for additional accommodation (full board included) outside of the quota within official days: 125 CHF per person. If teams would like to arrive earlier or depart later, they will be responsible for their own way to get here. - Official Arrival and Departure day : 2 nd, 7 th, Feb Ski and Equipment will be delivered directly to waxing cabin from airport, if team representatives want to check the luggage OC will arrange the transportation from hotel to waxing cabin. Shuttle service: From an official training day to one day after the end of the competitions; Competition days: from 2hrs prior to competition until to 2hrs after competition (depending on peak or non-peak). 5. Payments Reimbursement for FIS officials : Expenses sheets will be received at Race office during the race weekend or by nordiccombined@pyeongchang2018.com. All payments will be done electronically by bank transfer. Travel expenses: Travel expenses to the teams will be paid according to FIS NC WC Rules by bank transfer. Bank details shall be provided to the OC. Payment: All payment can be paid at the Race Office if teams have to pay. Credit cards (VISA/Master) only can be accepted. However, for accommodation in case of early arrival and late departure, each team should pay at the hotel reception directly. 6. Waxing Facilities Wax cabins: Both SJ and CC cabins are available from 01/02/2017 at 12:00 The keys to the cabins: For Ski Jumping: SJ sub-race office (at SJ athlete compound) For Cross Country: CC team service office (at CC wax/service cabin area) 7. Radio Equipment Regulations All radio equipment brought from abroad to be used during the Nordic Combined World Cup requires short-term spectrum license from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP), which is the RF spectrum regulatory authority of Korea. The organizer declines any liability for accidents by competitors, officials, helpers and spectators. The great trophy will be given as a challenge trophy to the winner in the Nordic Combined event (Gundersen). The trophy becomes his property, if he wins it three times in succession or all together five times. As a token the winner will receive a miniature trophy. The winner of the challenge trophy is responsible for it and will guarantee to get the trophy back to the organizers in good time for the next years event.!71
