4 MEDIA SERVICES Media Accreditation Media accreditation cards can be collected from Lahti Ski Games Accreditation Office. The Accreditation Office is located in the Lahti Sports and Fair Centre (entrance lobby), Salpausselänkatu 7, Lahti. Media Lounge/ Refreshments Coffee and snacks are served free of charge at the Media Centre during the opening hours. Photographers In general, photographers can take photos along the ski tracks as long as they do not disturb the competition. Also, they must choose their locations carefully so that they do not disturb the TV cameras on site. The photo locations for Ski Jumping will be presented at the Photographers coordination meetings (see times below). Photo Bibs According to FIS rules, photographers must have FIS photo bibs to be allowed to take photos in the race areas. 5 Nikon NPS Nikon is at your service during Lahti Ski Games. You will find NPS (Nikon Professional Services) at the Media Centre. NPS can make small repairs and loan lenses, main bodies and flashes for your test and use. Opening hours/nikon NPS: Thursday :00 18:00 Friday :00 12:30 and 13:30 19:30 Saturday :00 12:30 and 13:30 18:30 Sunday and Meals There are several options for lunch/dinner at the venue. For media representatives, lunch is served for the price of 10 euros at Koti restaurant (Lahti Sports and Exhibition Center, 2nd floor). The restaurant is open for lunch (Mon Wed) and (Thu Sun). Results Service Results, news, start lists, and other official information will be published on the event website (lahtiskigames.com). Prints are available also at the Media Center. Live result service at Media Parking There are limited amount of parking permits available for media parking. The parking permits are delivered from the Accreditation Office according to online reservations (accreditation form). Lahti Traveling Centre Lahti Sports Centre Saturday :30 17:30 Sunday :30 15:00 Free of charge with media accreditation card. Mixed Zone Areas The common Mixed Zone will be serving all media. Dedicated Mixed Zone and the Eng Mixed Zone are available with the bookings via Infront Italy. Entering the Eng Mixed Zone the accreditation for the area and a camerasticker delivered in the accreditation office is required Maps of Mixed Zone Areas are available at the Media Centre. Mixed Zone coordinators appointed by the LOC at both stadiums: Mixed Zone/XC Ville Touru Mixed Zone/SJ Riina Mäkitalo Commentary Booths Commentary booths with results monitors, LAN connection and WLAN are reserved for the companies with the live publishing rights. Commentating is forbidden outside the Commentary Booths. Prize Giving Ceremonies In all World Cup competitions three best athletes or teams will be awarded in prize giving ceremony that takes place right after each competition. Nearest hospital is Päijät-Häme Central Hospital, Keskussairaalankatu 7, Lahti Helpdesk (24 h) Emergency number in Finland is 112. Environment Lahti Ski Games is a sustainable event, and we hope you can also contribute to our environmental goals. We place special emphasis on material and energy efficiency and sustainable transportation. At media services working space, we have waste sorting for: biodegradable waste, combustible waste (plastics), paper, batteries, bottles and cans, and mixed waste. Marked waste bins are located at the inside facilities and outdoors.
