Batam is a relaxing island in Indonesia to visit which has grown from a tiny fishing island to a vibrant city island visited by more than 10,000 Singaporeans every weekend, making it an ideal getaway for seaside resorts and nightlife activities. KTM Resort is well known throughout Batam and is popular for its hospitality and seaside view amongst several other exciting water activities offered. In partnership with KTM Resort Batam (located less than 1km from Sekupang International Ferry Terminal), SPS hopes to offer a whole new resort experience for paintball players in this region. The KTM resort offers seafront view from its villas with Al-Fresco dining experience and many exciting sea activities for all to enjoy. Our aim is to promote a healthy paintball sports community on the Batam island and to invite family members of paintball players to enjoy a relaxed getaway with them while they compete on the field. We welcome teams and players from overseas to partake in this inaugural paintball event in Batam. 3 SPS KTM BATAM INVITATIONAL 2018 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION EVENT DATE: 12 & 13 May 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) All information and updates about the event will be published on the Official Singapore Paintball Series Facebook page. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT ends on 15 April 2018 (Sunday). Registration closes on 29 April 2018 (Sunday). TENTATIVE PROGRAM OUTLINE: 7.00 am - Registration 8.00 am 5.00 pm - Games Timings are subjected to changes. Please check the Official Singapore Paintball Series Facebook page for the latest updates nearer to event date. EVENT VENUE: KTM Resort, Octoshot Arena (JL. Kolonel Soegiono Tanjung Pinggir, Sekupang, Riau Archipelago, Indonesia (Batam, Batam Island) SEKUPANG FERRY TERMINAL KTM Resort is located in Batam island and is approximately 10 minutes (by car) from Sekupang Ferry Terminal. GAME FORMAT There is only 1 division in SPS KTM Invitational All participating teams can register up to 9 players per team. Only 5 players can be fielded in any one point with up to 4 reserve players. OPEN DIVISION P7 RaceTo 2 Format in PALS Rules (with coaching) Firing Modes: Semi or Ramping (PSP/ Millennium) Rate of Fire: Capped at 12.0 bps NOTE: Teams are advised to make their travel plans early to ensure all necessary arrangements are confirmed. Teams travelling from Singapore into Batam will be subjected to a service fee of $10 (per paintball marker) for marker importation and exportation. Please provide written notifications at least 4 weeks prior to the event.

5 All transfer arrangements will be made by the SPS. All applications are subjected to approval from Singapore Police Force. Please send an to to request for import/export application information. Approval documents must be presented at customs upon entry into and exit from Singapore. SPS will not entertain any participant with paintball marker which is not registered and approved in advance. Registration for SPS KTM Batam Invitational 2018 will be based on first come first served for team registration payment. OVERSEAS TEAMS AND PLAYERS Overseas teams and players who are participating in SPS KTM Invitational 2018 will need to contact the organizers at least 4 weeks before event date for the clearance of their paintball markers. Teams and players are advised to import the same number of paintball markers as per their registered team roster with up to 2 additional backup markers. E.g. If an overseas team registers 8 players in its team roster, they will be eligible to import a total of 10 (8 players + 2 backup) paintball markers. Please submit to your marker details to info@singaporepaintballseries.com at least 4 weeks before the event. We will not be able to entertain any late request due to the minimum application processing duration by the Singapore Police Force. ELIGIBILITY All participants MUST be 14 years old and above. Participants who are between years old would require parental consent before participation. This tournament is open to all local and overseas players. SPS reserves the rights to determine a player s status in accordance to the player s experience and participation in local and overseas events based on their APPA status and through other resources such as references to other leagues. Teams which are unsure about your players eligibility can SPS at info@singaporepaintballeseries.com for verification and confirmation. SPS reserves the right to reject any player s participation if she is not rightfully registered into her respective playing level. To facilitate this process, SPS advises all teams to submit and confirm their team roster early to avoid any potential complication of player status. EQUIPMENT Players will need to have their personal paintball equipment such as paintball mask, loaders, tanks, barrel socks, pods, harness/pack, etc. SPS will not be responsible for any loss or damage of the equipment during the event.

6 RULES AND REGULATIONS SPS KTM Invitational 2018 will adopt the same set of rules and regulations used in the Paintball Asia League Series (PALS) P7 game. Participants are reminded to read the rules and regulations of competition paintball before the event. You can also download the rules from All changes and decisions are final under SPS KTM Invitational 2018 organizers. SPS KTM Invitational 2018 will be officiated by Singapore Paintball Series Referees and AsiaRefs. Please note that it is important for all players to understand the rules and regulations of competition paintball before participation. Players who are new to competition paintball are recommended to contact SPS for an Introduction to Competition Paintball session. This session is complimentary for all new participating teams in support of sports promotion and player development. *Note on changes to PALS P7 RaceTo Format: - The prohibited colour on all equipment and apparels (e.g. jersey, pants, masks) is yellow. - Coaching is not allowed at all times from outside of the field along its entire perimeter except the coach s pit.

Tournament grade paintballs will be sold on event day at SGD75.00 SGD80.00 (per box of 2000 paintballs). Only cash payment accepted at the event. Credit card payment is subjected to availability and an admin fee of 5% applies for credit card payments if the service is available in Batam. *All transfers and payments are to be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD). PRIZES Champion $1000 cash + 1 Champion Trophy + 9 Medals + 3 days-2 nights free accommodation in KTM Resort Batam (2 rooms) 2nd $800 cash + 9 Medals 3rd $500 cash + 9 Medals *All cash and prizes will be awarded to winning teams after the tournament during the Prize Presentation Ceremony.
