1 Sponsorship Proposal: Off-Road Innovation Greetings! UT Baja Racing team from Universidad del Turabo aims to participate in the Baja SAE Rochester series competition this The event will take place in June 6-10, 2013 at Rochester, New York. SAE Mini Baja SAE Mini Baja (Society of Automotive Engineers) is an annual competition of the Association of Automotive Engineers which had its beginnings since 1976, in which competes over 120 universities around the world. The goal is to design, fabricate and test an off road car "Mini Baja" type for non-professional riders, which will be evaluated by its design, performance and potential to be mass produced. The UT Baja Racing looks forward to participate in the June 2013 competition, at Rochester, NY, USA. Off-Road Innovation Off-Road Innovation is a Student Engineering Company in Universidad del Turabo under MEPI (Multidisciplinary Entrepreneurial Program for Innovation). The Company aims to give to the student an experience in which they can develop and improve their skills learned in class. Is for that reason that Off-Road Innovation has taken the initiative to be part of the Baja SAE series, to give to the students the experience of passing thru all the stages of a project, as analyze, design, and construct etc., very similar to that of the real life. Aiming to the formation of future engineers with experience, knowledge and passionate for what they do.

2 UT Baja Racing UT Baja Racing is a team of students of Engineering, from Mechanical, Industrial and Electrical from Universidad del Turabo. The objective of the team with the competition is to design and construct an all-terrain vehicle which can surpass any kind of scenario either be rocks, mud, snow or sometimes even water, etc. As a team the objective is to work as a one in all the aspects from designing, constructing and financial to be able to move forward and complete our goals. And to reinforce the sense of teamwork and leadership in each individual. Experience The UT Baja Racing team from Universidad del Turabo has compete in the Baja SAE series in three occasions: 1 st in Midwest 2001, 2 nd in Rochester 2010 and 3 rd in Auburn Each competition has been one of great experience and development for the students as individual, future engineers and leaders. Not only in this competition the students puts in practice their learned skills from classes but the teamwork is reinforced and give the student a taste of what would be its life as an engineer. 3 UT Baja Racing (Auburn 2012) In each competition the team had been improving, but for a greater improvement the team must be able to compete maintaining a continuous participation in the Baja SAE series. This is why the UT Baja Racing team from Universidad del Turabo exhorts you to be part of the achievements and development of the Team as well for the students.
