2 CLAY TARGET FEE INCREASE Effective July 1, 2018 the fee for BGC members'/families' clay target rounds will increase to $3.00. The Board felt this action was necessary due to a 14% clay target price increase (almost 30 cents/round) which all but eliminates the very thin margin that exists with the present membership fee (2.50). The League & Open Shoot fee ($3.00) and Guest Fee ($5.00) are not being adjusted at this time, but will likely be discussed by the Board. It finally caught up to us, we did get some rain for about a half hour and then it cleared up. We had a very light wind and that made for some good scores. We had a good turnout for the holiday with 3 squads. The top guns for the day are Pat Childers and Al Bost with a great score of 47 to take A Class. Bill Boston and Bill Mortensen took B class with a 44. Our very own Bob MacFarland took C Class with a 38. Wayne Averill had a great round on Handicap with a clean round of 25 for a total of 45 to be top gun in Handicap. That was some great shooting Wayne. I would like to thank Bob MacFarland, Jason Harris, Eric Leo, Pat Childers, Bill Boston and Fred Truelove for their help. What a great group of guys that pitched in to make it a good Trap day at Buccaneer. There were some very close matches with everyone hitting their stride at some point during the match. We welcomed new shooter Seattle Slew, and we had another potential new shooter helping keep score and planning to shoot next month. At the end of our six round no X match Tall Pines Kid was ranked #1 followed by Chance Holden, both with only one X. In the 2X Mag-7 Shoot-Off Reaper Jones with one X took out Tall Pines to go against Chance Holden with no X. When the dust settled it was Reaper Jones with the win. Good shooting pards, as always a great bunch to shoot with. Some people try to turn back their odometers...not me!!! I want people to know why I look this way...i've traveled a long way...and some of the roads were not paved... Being young is beautiful...but being old is comfortable... First you forget names...then faces...then you forget to pull up your zipper...then it gets even worse when...you forget to pull it down...
