3 VOLUNTEER RANGE OFFICERS for the Rifle/Pistol Range We are still accepting applications the highly respected position of VOLUNTEER RANGE OFFICERS for Saturday & Sunday. Congratulations to the California Grizzlies Junior Team who set a National Camp Perry in the 6 Man Team Match AND the Rattle Battle No civilian team has won it since 1930 and the Junior Team from California won it and set a new National Record. National Coaches Tim Acebo and Jim O Connell and team member Cheyenne Acebo & James McMillian are to be congratulated on an outstanding performance. The Richmond Rod & Gun Club helps in sponsoring some of the team training. If you are interested in joining, please contact them. JUNIOR TRAINING PROGRAM A special thanks to Dave Lee, Mary Trudell, Dave Bernstein & Dr. Phil Melander for their participation & help with the Juniors. If you would like to help & have rifle expertise we could use your help. The program provides training, 22 Rimfire ammo and a match rifle to the kids for use under the direction of experienced adults. Safety and Marksmanship is the order of the day. Please contact Director Dave THE BRODGEN BROTHERS SHOOT This is a club tradition and is really a lot of fun. The sign up sheet is at the Bar & the Rifle Range. New shooters & club members get to try out M1 Grarands, Blackpowder Rifles, 22 pistols, Trap/ Skeet shooting & Cowboy action shooting. Lunch is served and awards are presented on Sunday after the match. Please come on 8am to the Rifle Range & 8am to the Skeet Field. There is a five dollar sign up fee which is refunded upon showing up. It s non-refundable if you don t come. This is open to ALL members and their families *** Please note that on Nov 22 the Pistol line is closed from 9am-12 noon for the Blackpowder Turkey Shoot. It will be open AFTER 12 noon
