UAA earned its first WCHA point of the season with the 3-3 tie on Oct. 27 UAA s first non-loss at UND since Nov. 14, at the completion of four of the six non-conference games this season, UAA is Dave Shyiak is (.656) all-time in the first four games the Seawolves claimed their second straight Kendall Hockey Classic title on Oct UAA is now, overall in the Classic... UAA is now in under Shyiak in the Kendall Hockey Classic, with titles in 2006, 2011 and the Seawolves are now in season-openers under Shyiak... Karl, a local of Foremost, Alberta, who has yet to dress in a game this year, posted three goals and three assists in 24 games during his rookie campaign. WARNER PROMOTED: Head bench boss Dave Shyiak announced Nov. 19 that senior defenseman Scott Warner has been named an assistant captain for the remainder of the season... Warner, a local of Anchorage, will join junior Matt Bailey as an assistant captain, while senior Chris Crowell dresses as this season s captain. PICKERING RETIRING FROM HOCKEY: Junior F Andrew Pickering (Vancouver, B.C.) retired from hockey due to multiple concussions and other health concerns, announced on Nov head bench boss Dave Shyiak said the UAA program will continue to help Pickering as he moves forward SEAWOLF CAPTAINS: For the first time since the season, UAA has a lone captain in senior F Chris Crowell, while junior F Matt Bailey and senior D Scott Warner dress as the assistant captains.
