UAA defeated MTU 4-1 on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday... on Feb. 4, the Seawolves opened the scoring with then-junior D Curtis Leinweber s first of two goals on the night... the Huskies got their lone goal in the second before the Seawolves added three goals in the second half of the game for the win... on Feb. 5, MTU netted the first goal, but senior F Sean Wiles posted back-toback goals in the first and second for a 2-1 lead... the Huskies knotted the game at 2-2 before UAA put it away with two power-play tallies... then-freshman G Chris Kamal received the starting nod in net both nights, improving his record to SEAWOLF BITES: The Seawolves have lost six straight games after falling to ranked Minnesota on Oct (5-0, 3-1); the last time UAA lost six consecutive games was on Feb. 8-23, 2008 UAA s start in the conference play marks the program s worst start through six games in 19 seasons in the WCHA... on Oct. 28, the Seawolves suffered their first home shutout since a 5-0 loss to North Dakota on Oct. 23, the loss also snapped a three-game winning streak against the Gophers... UAA has been staying out of the box this season, averaging 9.6 minutes per game the fewest in the overall WCHA stats and 6th-fewest in the nation...
