The games are scheduled to commence at 7:07 p.m. AST both evenings. THE SERIES UAA vs. UMD OVERALL: UMD leads AT UAA: UMD leads LAST MEETING: Nov. 12, 2011 (UMD won, 3-1) STREAK: UMD 5 NOTES: The Seawolves and the Bulldogs met on Nov in Duluth (AMSOIL Arena), with UMD sweeping the league series, 5-0 and 3-1 the last time the teams met in Alaska was on March 5-6, 2010 with UAA winning the Friday night game, 3-2, before UMD won on Saturday, 6-3 in the last 12 outings, the teams are even at the last time UAA swept at home was on Nov. 5-6, 2004 (5-4, 3-0) the last time UAA faced a top-three ranked team was on Oct. 8, 2010 against No. 2 North Dakota (5-5 OT). SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Defending NCAA champion, Minnesota Duluth is ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com poll and No. 2 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll... the Bulldogs will travel to Anchorage following a one-point weekend against visiting Michigan Tech on Jan the Bulldogs let the Huskies come back to forge a 4-4 tie on Jan. 27, before being shut out by MTU on Jan. 28, the loss was the first time UMD had been shut out in 105 WCHA games... UMD, led by senior center Jack Connolly ( ), enters the weekend as the highest-scoring offense in the country (3.81 goals per game)... the Bulldogs have also received 30+ points from senior Travis Oleksuk ( ) and sophomore J.T.
