Racine now has six career goals in just 40 career games. Smooth Sailing John Snodgrass has excelled for the Raiders, averaging a point per game in four games this year. Snodgrass is riding a three-game point streak, tied with McMann for the longest on the team. Three of Snodgrass assists have come on the power play, including Saturday on Adam Dauda s power-play goal. The Raiders are in the three games Snodgrass has scored. Brooks Brothers Willie Brooks finally broke through after tallying 24 shots in seven games with his first goal of the season, good for the gamewinning power-play goal for the Raiders against the Black Bears. Brooks goal was his first career game-winning goal and second career power-play goal. Tim Harrison mishit a shot that fluttered back to Brooks who blasted it past Maine goaltender Matt Morris. Adam s Song Adam Dauda continued his impressive start to the season with yet another power-play goal, his third of the season. Dauda is the teamleader with three goals, all on the power play, as well as four assists and seven points. Dauda has points in four of his last five games. Tyler the Creator Tyler Penner found the stat sheet for the first time in his career on a power-play goal in Friday night s game to start the Raiders comeback to tie the Black Bears. Penner has been a mainstay in the Raiders lineup as one of the top centers, winning 59 of his 99 faceoffs through seven games. Penner ranks 11th in the conference in faceoff wins and 16th in faceoff winning percentage. His 15 faceoff wins on Friday night were a season-high. Back in Black Saturday night was a momentous night for Andrew Black as he scored his first goal of the season for the Raiders. Black s goal was also his first since Nov. 21, 2014 as a sophomore for the Raiders. He has now scored 11 goals in his Colgate career. Slide Down the Ice Jake Kulevich provided one of the more entertaining goals for the Raiders on Saturday night with a 200-foot empty net goal to seal the 5-3 win. Kulevich collected the puck behind his own end line, spun and fired the puck across the entire sheet and into the back of the net for his first goal of the Harry s Back Tim Harrison also returned to the score sheet with an assist Brooks game-winning powerplay goal for his third point of the season. Two of Harrison s three points have come with the man advantage this season. Panning Out Mike Panowyk nailed down his first assist of the year on Black s first period goal. Panowyk got a big faceoff win for the Raiders, winning it back to Racine who picked up the primary assist. Panowyk has two points this season as the junior looks to build on his 18-point season from Quick Start Jacob Panetta, playing in just his third career game, picked up his second assist of the year on Brooks game-winning power-play goal. Panetta jammed the puck out of the corner to the slot for Harrison where the puck jumped off Harrison s stick to Brooks. Panetta s assist was his first career on the power play. Fins Up Charlie Finn made his 100th career start Friday night as he continues to join the elite company of Colgate goaltending. He has appeared in 104 games, starting 101, putting him 10 games shy of tying Dan Brenzavich 98 for the second most games played in program history. Finn made a season-high 29 saves in Friday night s game and another 20 on Saturday to give him five straight 20-plus save games this season. PK is Getting Better Colgate s penalty kill is much improved from a season ago as the Raiders are at 88 percent, killing off 44 of 50 penalties this year. That ranks fourth in ECAC Hockey and second among teams to have played at least seven games in October. Streaking Power Play The Raiders power play is steadily ticking upward as it is up to 14.3 percent, tied for fourth in the conference and tied for second among teams to play at least seven games in October. Colgate has scored a power-play goal in five straight games and in six of the seven so far this season.

During his tenure, Vaughan has graduated 99 percent of his players. Since the creation of the award in 2000, Vaughan s athletes have been named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team more than 50 times. In , Vaughan added another All-ECAC Hockey player as Tyson Spink was named to the third team after a stellar 14-goal and 37-point season. In addition, 15 players were named to the All-Academic team and incoming freshman Colton Point became the 33rd player in program history to be selected in the NHL Draft.
