At Bill Gray s Regional lceplex there are a variety of entry level programs for ice hockey, in line hockey, broomball and figure skating. The facility is ideal for large scale tournaments, overnight hockey player development camps and out of town visiting hockey teams. According to a recent economic impact study completed by Camoin Associates, the facility generates 86,000 out of town visitors, staying in 35,200 hotel rooms that creates $18.5 million direct out of town spending to the Rochester area each year. The Iceplex does not require any taxpayer participation to operate yet it provides so much for our community. This venue is an enhancement to our citizen s quality of life, providing affordable family entertainment that promotes healthy lifestyles serving over 1.5 million visitors annually. One of the Finger Lakes Region s greatest economic and community assets, it attracts over 1.5 million in foot traffic annually, which according to Visit Rochester, makes it the single largest venue in the region by attendance. The facility is ideal for large-scale hockey tournaments, overnight hockey player development camps and out of town hockey teams games that compete against the teams that call Bill Grays Regional Iceplex home including but not limited to Rochester Youth Hockey, The Rochester Junior Americans and NCAA Division 3 Nazareth College and many more.
