Brian Foster s Limousin tops at 2 per kilo and Mark and Jackie Cornwell s homebred Aberdeen Angus cross and Simmental cross heifers 182p and 181p respectively and gross 1,252. Looking for cattle for next week please. CULL COWS (9) Auctioneer: Roger Waters Short and sharp, cows are wanted, the bigger the better. Alex Ainslie s crossbred Sussex weighing in at 765 kg. reached 147p, i.e. 1, and Roger Verity s Aberdeen Angus cross at 131p. Pete and Youleite Parkes Aberdeen Angus x Friesian 124p, Tony and Paul Starley s leaner Sussex 121p. Nothing like enough for the potential customers around the ring. Trade was not as exciting as we would have hoped but certainly well in line with other centres. There is a shorter diversion for cars which will be down Bell Banks Road onto Station road and out at South Road at the traffic lights.
