Our summer lunches have been very popular over the past few years, but nothing like this summer. Even the Fountain Hills Times is noticing: This week s lunch will be held at the Hill s restaurant again as the restaurant at Desert Canyon golf course was damaged by the recent monsoon storms. We need to update our club s member photos so please wear your blue Rotary shirt (or any blue shirt) to the lunch this week so we can get your photograph.

Page 2 Impact Of Our Bob s Free Bikes Event Shows Our Bob s Free Bikes event last month has made a significant impact on the boys and girls who received their new bicycles.

Dear Fountain Hills Rotary Club, What you did today was beautiful, giving kids new bikes.

They are good kids, they are hard working, they never complain, they eat all the food on their plates, and just needed to catch a break. God bless you all for giving them a break today.

2 Page 2 Impact Of Our Bob s Free Bikes Event Shows Our Bob s Free Bikes event last month has made a significant impact on the boys and girls who received their new bicycles. Just recently, I received a letter in the mail from one of the foster parents of a bicycle recipient named Joshua. Dear Fountain Hills Rotary Club, What you did today was beautiful, giving kids new bikes. They are kids who previously could not just ride their bike to the library or around the fountain with a friend. I personally know six of the recipients. They are good kids, they are hard working, they never complain, they eat all the food on their plates, and just needed to catch a break. God bless you all for giving them a break today. You showed them goodness. My friend Joshua wanted me to pass on his note of thanks. You have empowered kids. They have tough lives, but they just got a lot easier. They will never forget.
