3 RULES 1 Loss, injry or damage to horse, rider, owner, coach, groom, spectator or other individals is in no way the responsibility of the Dtchess Conty Fair Management or the Horse Show Committee. 2. Insfficient Entries in a class shall reslt in the cancellation of that class. The Show Committee also reserves the right to divide, combine or add any classes it deems necessary for the good of the show. In classes offering prize money, the Show Committee reserves the right to rn any class as a Sweepstakes if there are less than six (6) entries 3. Only Jdges and those having dties to perform shall be allowed in the ring dring jdged competition. 4. Nmbers mst be worn by Exhibitors in the ring at all times. No charge for nmbers. 5. All Entry Fees mst be paid prior to receiving exhibitor nmbers, or a blank signed check payable to: Dtchess Conty Fair may be left with the Secretary ntil the end of the show. Post entries will be accepted the day of the show at an extra charge of $3.00 per class/exhibitor. Post entries mst be made one hor prior to the start of the class entered. 6. A Certificate of a Negative Coggin s Test, condcted within 12 months, mst be presented before exhibitor nmbers will be issed. All Eqine Entering any NYS Conty Fair or the NYS State Fair MUST BE actively immnized against Rabies. Vaccine mst be administered at least forteen (14) Days Prior to arrival on Fairgronds. Vaccination Certificate from yor Veterinarian mst accompany each Eqine. Eqines not Meeting these Reqirements will be rejected from the Premises. Please see pages for NYS Ag & Markets reglations for ot of state horses. 7. Tickets to enter the Fairgronds will be issed 2 per rider. They will be mailed to exhibitors pon receipt of entry form. No refnds on tickets prchased at the gate. 8. Schooling. Controlled free schooling will be permitted between 6:30 am to 8:15 am each morning. It is likely that no other schooling in the main ring will be offered. The main ring will not be open for schooling in the evening. 9. Online entries available, OR mail entries with check payable to DCAS Inc. to Horse Show Secretary: Patrica Higham, c/o Entry Office, PO Box 389. Rhinebeck, NY NO DOGS ALLOWED ON GROUNDS OR TO BE KEPT IN VEHICLES! 11. Horses may not enter gronds before 6:00 PM Agst 25th. 12. Riders nder 18 years of age mst wear protective headgear at all times when monted. 13. A $25.00 fee will be charged for retrned checks. 14. There are no camper spaces available. There is no camping in the stabling area. 15. Classes with asterisks do not cont toward championships. 16. No sleeping in stalls 17. Proper Western Horse Show attire please. No T-shirts or tank tops. 18. Unsafe start or stop in any timed class will reslt in disqalification. 19. Otside coaching may be penalized per the jdges' discretion. 20. They may not compete in any other division other than Beginner Timed Division. Entry fee: $12.00 per class. Points for Walk-Jog Division Championship awarded on One Horse-One Rider combination, in all classes below Walk-Jog Fitting and Showmanship - 6 ribbons 201. Walk-Jog Horsemanship - 6 ribbons 202. Walk-Jog Pleasre - 6 ribbons. NOVICE RIDER DIVISION Open to both Jnior and Senior Riders with less than three years show experience. They may not compete in any other division other than Beginner Timed Division. Entry fee: $12.00 per class.
