4 What is Sporting Clays? "golf with a shotgun" because a typical course includes from 10 to 15 different shooting stations, with each station presenting targets from trap machines. Each station is unique. Throughout a course, the shooters might see targets crossing from either side, coming inward, going outward, flying straight up, rolling on the ground, arcing high in the air, or thrown from towers. We will be shooting on report, meaning the second clay will be launched on the report of the shooter's gun.

7 WHAT TO WEAR/BRING Be Prepared! Dress comfortably with layers. Weather is usually cold in the morning and hot by the afternoon. Bring rain gear. Bring a camp/portable chair for you to have at your station. You may want to bring a small cooler. Drinks and snacks are provided on the course but this way you will have them at your fingertips.

8 SCORING The Scorekeeper at each station will record individual scores. Dead Bird (a hit) score with an X Lost Bird (a miss) score with an O Mulligans are automatically counted toward the score upon purchase
