3 2. 赛事地点及访问 LOCATION & VISIT 2.1 如何到达广州 ARRIVAL 外国参赛运动员乘搭国际航班到达广州白云国际机场后, 由南粤古驿道定向大赛组委会安排赛事接送大巴接送往返赛事接待酒店 (12 月 12 日 15:00 在广州白云国际机场接机前往肇庆接待酒店,12 月 17 日 17:45 从赛场发车送回广州白云国际机场 ) Foreign participants are suggested arriving at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on 12/12/2017. Shuttle buses will be arranged to/from the Airport and the official hotel in Zhaoqing for free by the Organizer. (Departure time of the shuttle buses from the Airport to the official hotel on 12/12/2017 will be at 3:00pm while departure time from the competition venue to the Airport on 17/12/2017 will be at 5:45pm.) 2.2 赛事中心 EVENT CENTRE 大会安排赛事接驳车免费从接待酒店到赛事中心来回接送 Free shuttle buses will be arranged to/from the official hotel and the event center. 2.3 签证 VISA 按照目前的规定, 一些国家的公民必须获得签证才能进入中国

ME/WE( 世界排位赛欢迎各国精英运动员参加, 需提供 IOF ID 如有需要, 参加者可到以下链注册 IOF ID) Welcome all elite runners around the world to join the WRE.

5 The runners shall provide the IOF ID when he/she registers. If necessary, please sign up for IOF ID via the following website: 符合下列条件之一者 : Eligible runners shall comply with the following requirements: (1) 获得 2017 年全国定向锦标赛 M21E W21E M18E W18E 组前 20 及 M21A W21A M18A W18A GM GW 组前 10 名的运动员 ; Elite runners who won the first 20 places in M21E W21E M18E W18E or the first 10 places in M21A W21A M18A W18A GM GW of the 2017 China Orienteering Championship. (2) 2017 年国家定向集训队国家青年定向集训队运动员 ; Runners who are training in the National Orienteering Team or the National Junior Orienteering Team in (3) 参加年南粤古驿道定向大赛精英组别短距离中距离个人比赛项目并获得前 6 名的运动员 Runners who participated in Elite class of sprint or middle distance of 2016/2017 Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering Championship and rewarded the first 6 places.

6 (4) 2016 年中国定向公开赛总积分排名精英组前 10 名和非精英 M21A W21A M18A W18A 组前 6 名的运动员 ; Runners who won the first 10 places in elite class or the first 6 places in non-elite class of M21A W21A M18A W18A of 2016 OAC-Open. (5) 参加 2017 年省自治区直辖市体育主管部门主办的锦标赛或冠军赛 16 岁 ( 含 ) 以上组别短距离中距离或长距离比赛项目并获得第 1 名的运动员 ; Runners who participated in any provincial championship races, including sprint, middle or long distance races with classes of 16-yearsold or above and won the first place. (6) 参加国际定联组织的国际赛事精英组并完赛的, 经中国定向运动协会批准的运动员 ; Runners who completed Elite Class races of any IOF events ever and clarified by China Orienteering Association. (7) 经中国定向运动协会批准的解放军及武警部队运动员 ; CAPF Runners who are clarified by China Orienteering Association.

7 (8) 经中国定向运动协会批准的港澳台地区的运动员 Runners from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who are clarified by China Orienteering Association 南粤古驿道组别 : Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering (GHRO) 精英组 ELITE:M21E/W21E/M18E/W18E 公开组 OPEN: M21A/W21A/M18A/W18A/M15/W15/M12/W12/M6/W6 体验组 EXPERIENCE:CATI/FAMILY/LOVER 4.2 奖项 AWARDS (1) 每场世界排位赛均设 ME/WE 组前六名奖金, 不论国籍并录取前三名颁发证书奖牌奖杯, 第四到第八名颁发证书奖牌 The first 6 places in World Ranking Event Men & Women s classes will be rewarded in each championship regardless of nationalities. Trophies, medals and certificates will be rewarded to the first 3 places while medals and certificates will be rewarded to the 4 th to 8 th places in each event.

(3) 公开组 / 体验组 : 各项录取前三名颁发证书 For non-elite classes: Certificates will be rewarded to participants in the first 3 places in each event. (4) 所有组别运动员按照比赛规则在规定时间内成功完成上午比赛, 可在主会场领取完赛证书和完赛奖牌 All participants will be rewarded the complementary medals and certificates upon the completion of the match within the effective time. 5. 竞赛规则 COMPETITION RULES 赛事采用国际定向联合会的徒步定向竞赛规则及中国徒步定向运动竞赛规则 The competitions will be organized in accordance with the IOF Competition Rules and Competition by-law from China Orienteering Association.

12 Foreign runners please submit the entry form to by the above-mentioned deadline. 2. 大陆及港澳台运动员请留意 2 号公告的网上报名链接 Mainland and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan runners please pay attention to bulletin 2 published later. 8. 食宿 ACCOMMODATION & MEALS 在赛事期间, 外国运动员统一由大会安排食宿, 具体标准详见赛事 2 号公告 During the Competition, accommodation and three meals per day will be offered to all foreign participants for free by the Organizer. Detailed information will be published in Bulletin 2. 备注 : 大会提供外国运动员 50 个免费食宿名额, 采用先报先得方式 ; 另提供国内运动员 ( 含港澳台地区 ) 世界排位组及精英组 100 个免费食宿名额, 如报名超过额定人数将采用抽签方式 Remarks: Free accommodation & meals will be offered to 50 foreign runners who have the earliest registration and to 100 Chinese runners (including Hong Kong, Macau &Taiwan) in WRE or elite class with draws.

The place abounds with bananas and garden stuff,

15 accordingly the track is mainly contains banana forest which can be undertaken for a one-way fast running, while farmland is hard to cross. A stretch of grassland with puddles by the river is a special terrain found in this island. 中距离赛佛山南海西樵山 (WRE) Middle Distance-Xiqiao Mountain, Foshan 山体外陡内平, 状如莲花簇瓣, 树林以白林灌木丛为主, 村落公园结合的场地部分树林地面树叶较多土壤松弛并有碎石, 坑坑洼洼不平 Xiqiao Mountain is a famous scenic spot in Guangdong with the characteristics of terrain of steep outside and flat inside, appeared to be a lotus-petal in shape. Middle Distance terrain is stretching over an area among villages and parks and forest covered by wood land and bush, where is pitted with holes and much leaves on the lo ose earth. 团队赛 / 短距离赛广州黄埔古港 Group/Sprint-Huangpu Ancient Port 村落, 铺砖地面为主, 部分村落小公园, 可跑性高 The terrain is located in villages with partial small parks mainly in brick pavement. Suitable for running.

16 短距离赛广州海珠湿地公园 (WRE) Sprint-Haizhu Wetland Park 城市湿地公园, 路网丰富, 路面铺砖地主, 水域较多, 地势起伏小, 植被通透可跑性较好 The sprint terrain is located in urban wetland park with full-accessible brick pathway. There are lots of water area and vegetation of lower relief with good condition for running. 9.3 着装建议 DRESSING SUGGESTION 关于服装没有规定, 短距离赛和团队赛适合穿着马拉松鞋和越野跑鞋, 不适合穿钉鞋中距离赛长裤钉鞋或防滑鞋 There are no requirements for dressing. Cross-country shoes and marathon shoes are highly recommended for sprint and group races. Spike shoes are not suggested but should be more suitable for the middle distance race with tracksuit bottoms, or a pair of anti-skidding shoes.

17 9.4 电子打孔及计时系统 ELECTRONIC PUNCHING & TIMING SYSTEM 所有赛事将采用 SPORTident 电子打孔及计时系统, 参加者须在报名时填写自备的 SI-Card 编号组委会亦备有电子控制卡可供海外赛员免费租借, 押金为 RMB 500 元 / 个, 赛后退还 The SPORTident Electronic Punching and Timing system will be used in the competitions. Runners should fill in their SI-card number at the entry form. Foreign runners can use their own SI-card or rent from the organizer with a deposit of RMB500 each which will be refunded upon returning back after the races. 9.5 气候 CLIMATE 广州地处亚热带沿海属海洋性亚热带季风气候,12 月为阴凉的冬季 12 月的平均气温是 16, 最冷的天气可以达到 7 Guangzhou maintains a subtropical Oceanic monsoon climate.
