Mercator projection - scale: 1/ (51 20 N). These charts are updated up to and including BaZ 05/2017. Coordinates: World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84). Depths reduced to Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT). The main changes are: - New Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) Off North Hinder. - Modification of Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) & precautionary area At Westhinder. - Modification of precautionary area in the vicinity of the Thorntonbank and the Blighbank. - New precautionary area At Gootebank. - New two-way route Wespit.

6 /114 GENERAL NOTICE - NEW PUBLICATION: ENC s VLAAMSE BANKEN - CAUTION USE OF ECDIS WITH CHANGING TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEMES (TSS) AND ROUTEING MEASURES Concerns: ENC s BE3VLBNK and BE4VLBNK. On 1 June UTC, major changes will come into force in the traffic separation schemes (TSS) and routeing measures in the southern North Sea. These changes were already announced in BaZ /062(P), /063(P), /064(P), /065(P), /066(P), /069(P), /070(P) and /072(P). From now until the beginning of June 2017, in the ENC s that cover these changes, both the old and the new situation will be included. By using the attributes DATEND (before the change) and DATSTA (after the change) on the modified components of the traffic separation schemes and routeing measures, the ECDIS will visualize the right prevailing situation. Control the correct settings of your ECDIS to visualize the correct ENC (see your ECDIS manual). Using wrong settings may result in showing both the old and the new situation simultaneously. 7 /115 GENERAL NOTICE - PORT OF ZEEBRUGGE - ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS LNG BUNKER VESSEL Charts: D11, 101 (INT1474), XD11, X101 (INT1474) Additional regulations maritime traffic from arrival LNG bunker vessel From the 4th of April 2017, an LNG bunker vessel (LBV) (the Engie Zeebrugge ) will be operational in the port of Zeebrugge-Brugge. From then following rules will be applicable: When an LBV is positioned alongside a receiving vessel or is moored alongside a quay, maritime traffic must pass at a distance of minimum 30 meters with a sailing speed not exceeding 6 knots. When an LBV is sailing in the port, maritime traffic must keep a minimal distance of 1 cable fore or aft and keep minimum passing distance of 50 meters. Here again, the maximal speed is 6 knots. Before every shift an LBV will broadcast its sailing plan in English on VHF channel 68 when relevant for the inner port or VHF channel 71 when relevant for the outer port. As for lock passages, the LBV is the last vessel to enter the lock and in principle the last to leave the lock, unless the lock master instructs otherwise. When the LBV is in the lock, hot work and smoking is prohibited in the lock area (materialized by fencing on all sides) and on all other ships in the lock. The Port Authority will monitor the speed at all times. Infringement of this rule will be sanctioned accordingly. Other speed restrictions are still applicable. Source: MBZ Zeebrugge

Charts: D11, 102 (INT1480), 101 (INT1474), XD11, X102 (INT1480), X101 (INT1474) In the framework of beach nourishment, the following pipelines are temporarily established: Vicinity De Panne: between positions 51 06,50 N ,05 E and 51 06,19 N ,33 E. Vicinity Lombardsijde: between positions 51 10,21 N ,94 E and 51 10,00 N ,25 E. Vicinity Bredene: between positions 51 16,46 N ,48 E and 51 16,23 N ,81 E. The north cardinal buoy THV1 remains temporary established in position 51 16,33 N ,82 E. Vicinity Wenduine: between positions 51 18,17 N ,60 E and 51 18,35 N ,43 E. Shipping is requested not to anchor nor to fish above these pipelines and to pass free of them north of the most northerly position. 11 /124(T) WINDFARM - THORNTONBANK-LODEWIJKBANK - RENTEL: WORKING AREA AND BUOYAGE BaZ /097(P) is cancelled. Charts: D11, 101 (INT1474), XD11, X101 (INT1474) There are works in progress between the Thorntonbank and the Lodewijkbank for the further installation of the wind farm Rentel. The following buoyage and limits of the working area are established: Buoyage: 4 cardinal light buoys are established in the positions: RE-N 51 37,36 N ,03 E RE-E 51 35,21 N ,56 E RE-S 51 33,55 N ,52 E RE-W 51 35,56 N ,76 E 2 special marking buoys are established in the positions: RE-I ,35 N ,77 E RE-I ,23 N ,17 E Limits working area: The working area is bounded by a line joining the buoys: RE-N; RE-I-1; RE-E; RE-S; RE-I-2; RE-W; RE-N. Measures: It is forbidden to enter the above-mentioned working area zone. Moreover, it is advised to navigate well outside the limits of this area. Subject to observance of the legal and regulatory provisions, authorization and other regulations, valid at that point in time, and, if necessary, prior to the granting of the required authorizations, this prohibition can be waived: - For warships, ships in use as marine assistance vessels or other vessels owned, managed or commissioned by a State, Region or Community and which at that time are exclusively used for non-commercial government services; - For the means of the concessionaire; - For the means of scientific research subject to prior consultation with the concessionaire. - For the means deployed for the maintenance of the undersea telegraph and telephone connection, high-voltage cables and pipelines; - For vessels needing assistance; - For saving human life and property or attempts; - In case of force majeure. 13 /126(T) WESTERN SCHELDT - BALLASTPLAAT - SIGNAL MAST TEMPORARILY OUT OF USE Charts: 104/05 The shipping signals of the signal mast in position 51 21,38 N ,25 E will be unlit until and including 31 July 2017, longer or shorter in duration depending on the progress of the works. Only the radar and the microwave links of the Scheldt Radar Chain will be still working. The works will last until and including Sunday 30 April 2017, longer or shorter in duration depending on the progress of the works. During the works, a mooring prohibition applies for all shipping, excepted for M/V Zhen Hua. The 2 container cranes placed transversely on the ship are fitted with permanent lighting.
