Having regard to the Royal Decree of 11 April 2012, publication 1 June 2012, a safety zone is established around the 55 wind turbines in exploitation on the Belwind wind farm. The access to the zone is forbidden. The working area having a 200 metres radius around the position of the wind turbine, is demarcated by an east cardinal buoy 'BLW-E' in position 51 41,30 N ,36 E with racon 'D'. The foundation piles rise 4.8 metres above the seabed. Fishing and anchoring is prohibited in this area. 10 9 >02/058 (T) LOWER SEASCHELDT - KRANKELOON AT THE HEIGHT OF JETTY INEOS - WRECK CLEARING OPERATIONS As from 14 January, 2013, wreck clearing operations will occur near buoy Ineos jetty. - 2 pontoons on spud piles will be positioned next to the wreck. o Pontoon 'LYNN' dimensions 22 x 55 metres o Pontoon 'Paula' dimensions 15 x 45 metres These pontoons are assisted by the tugboat Sabine. - A working area has been defined and demarcated by means of 6 light buoys: 2 green buoys and 4 yellow buoys with light character. 12 11 THE NETHERLANDS >02/061 WESTERN SCHELDT - ZUIDERGAT - FORECAST CROSS-CURRENT WARNING 2013 The forecasts of cross-current warnings in the Zuidergat for the year 2013 with dates, time frames and classification of strength, at which the cross-current can occur from an astronomical viewpoint, are indicated in the table below. In the cross-current forecast, which is based on the astronomical tide, the meteorological effects were not considered (unknown factor)!!! The Hydro Meteo Centre monitors 6 to 12 hours ahead the criteria concerning whether or not to issue a cross-current warning. At a number of hours western wind (4-6 Bf), the water in the Western Scheldt is pushed up. As a result, it is possible that a few times a year, the criteria are exceeded. In that case, a cross-current warning is issued at the last moment. In case of a number of days of eastern wind, it might occur that (on a date of the list), the criteria fail to be achieved. In that case, the warning is withdrawn. The 'Fietspad Valkenisse will be renamed 'Fietspad Moer'.
