1 Beaver Valley Ski Club Slalom Column PRESIDENTS REPORT The snow is on the way, just in time for HV1. Sounds like BVSC will soon be swishing down the slopes in New York. Be sure to let me know of your rooming preferences soon. The candy sale went well with the club making enough money to help keep the cost of weekend trips at a minimum. The Christmas party was fun as always. The Bristol trip is filling fast and must be paid in full ASAP. See you at the January meeting! Ski Saturday and Sunday at Holiday Valley. $185 pp based on quad occupancy and $220 pp 2/room. 2 trips Saturday AM and 1 trip Sunday Morning. Leaving for home around PM. Shuttle to Casino is available for your entertainment. Hotel features Saturday night and Restaurant with limited menu late Friday night. Full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. BVSC has finally caught up to the times as other ski clubs have a release to protect the membership in this day and age. You missed the deadline to get the Renewal Rate. BEAVER VALLEY SKI CLUB WESTERN TRIP Beaver Valley Ski Club Western Trip 2012 is going to Beaver Creek Colorado on Saturday March 24th thru Saturday March 31st We will be staying at the Kiva Condos, which feature large 2 bedroom units with a private Ski way that provides easy Ski in and Out. Package Includes: Round trip air to Denver flying on Southwest which means "NO BAGGAGE FEES", Ground transfers to Beaver Creek, 7 nights lodging, 5 day lift ticket at Beaver Creek, Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone. Transportation is an additional cost to any of the other resorts. Wine and cheese party upon arrival at Kiva Condos. Price is the same as last year; $ Need a deposit ASAP of $ to hold your spot. 1/2 paid NOW and total by February 1, Call Dick Hartzell!! Bristol and Snowshoe Information The Bristol Ski Trip registration is coming to a close. I need everyone who plans on going to pay in full either before the Jan meeting or at the meeting. The club is sending a 50% estimated deposit to YSC the 20th of Dec & I have not collected 50% from all that are going. Please pay in full! The club can not finance your ski trip. The SnowShoe Ski Trip is coming up fast. There are plenty of spaces still open. I need $100 deposits at the Jan meeting or before. Its SnowShoe's requirements for reservations that all moneies be paid 30 days in advance. The Club will need your money paid in full before the 20th of Jan. You snooze you lose on this trip. The party headquarters is at the Famous Dudley Hotel; where they dance on the bar and what goes on at the Dudley stay at the Dudley!!! We did miss you Miss Judy; hope you are feeling better I saw a lot of old friends at the annual Christmas party It was a pleasure to see everyone and a fun time was had by all.. The food was delicious & plentiful Do you want to know what I did NOT see?? I did not see you & you and oh you too!!! Where were you & you and all of you?? I saw Raymond come late. I saw Gypsy Rose Janella with her infamous friend the, Bar Skier, Miss Loraine. They came after dinner for cocktails only You all could have come for cocktails you know Oh well it s just like the bus???? They talk about skiing and parting but they are all talk.. The D.J. said, what the h _ ; happened to this crowd.. NO dancing. Not even Herbie cut the rug By 11:00 pm you were all gone even if you did show. Man we are getting old quick!!!
