3 HIGHLAND FOREST CROSS COUNTRY DAY WE'LL BE CROSS COUNTRY SKIING AT HIGHLAND FOREST ON JANUARY 20 TH. THERE ARE OVER 20 MILES OF TRAILS, WITH A VARIETY FROM BEGINNER TO EXPERT. THERE IS A WARMING HUT & SNACK BAR. SOME SKI AND SNOWSHOE RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE. MEET 9:30 AM ON THE SQUARE IN CLINTON. FOR MORE INFO, CALL ED'S BEDS ONCE AGAIN, FEBRUARY 1 ST THROUGH 3 RD, THE CROSS COUNTRY SKIERS WILL BE GOING TO ED'S BEDS. ARRIVE FRIDAY NIGHT, FEB 1, SKI SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FEB 2 ND & 3 RD. BREAKFAST WILL BE PROVIDED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. COLD CUTS AND FRUITS WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED FOR LUNCHES. Sunday River, Maine There are still 12 openings for the trip. Members can sign up for the trip via the mail or by seeing Randy or Barb at the December 4 th meeting. Members who have already signed up can pick up their information packets at the Dec. 4 th or Jan. 8 th meetings. Mont Sutton/Owl s Head, Quebec, Canada The trip is full with a waiting list started! (WOW!!) The trip isn t until Feb. Things happen in people s lives, necessitating cancellations. So. If you re interested in going, get on the waiting list! 8 TRIP APPLICATION 1. You must completely fill out all parts of the application that apply for this trip. 2. You must submit complete application with all deposits to confirm your reservation. 3. All applicants must be current members of the G.E. SKI CLUB INC. ( The Club ) 4. All deposits / payments MUST be in by dates published for each event. 5. All reservations are on a first come, first served basis, either at a regular meeting or by postmark. 6. Make all checks payable to G.E. Ski Club Inc. Any check returned for lack of funds will have a $15.00 charge added. 7. It is up to each person to list roommates for the trip. If roommates are not listed or do not sign-up, we will assign roommates. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY 1. The Club reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time. In that event, The Club will make every effort to recover as much of each person s money as is possible and refund in accordance with #2, #3, #4, & #5 below. 2. Any participant cancellation prior to The Club established deposit date (1st payment date) is refundable. 3. Each participant is responsible for expenses incurred by The Club on their behalf after the deposit date. 4. Participants acknowledge that failure to make timely payments may result in loss of moneys paid on an individual trip basis. 5. Any refunds due after the deposit date will be declared within thirty days and paid within sixty days of trip completion or trip cancellation. 6. Participants are completely and individually responsible for their own actions on all trips and activities and bear the burden of liabilities thereof. 7. Participants by signing this agreement, agree to hold The Club harmless and waive all right of regress for any injuries sustained, and for any other liability whatsoever that may arise during the course of the trip. 8.
