2 On 6th of May we open the VI edreams MARNATON Cup in Barcelona. For the fourth year running, the Club Natació Barcelona will host the MARNATON edreams Barcelona by VW California. A challenge focused on popularizing open water swimming with the novelty of 4km swim and 2km. The day will consist of: 4km challenge, 2km challenge, relay challenge and a Kids challenge. The relay challenge will take place over a distance of 500m by teams of 4 swimmers, where each team will have to complete 8 laps, making a total of 4,000 meters among all. This is the perfect opportunity to compete and more importantly have fun with your friends.

6 EVENT LOCATIONS COLLECTING THE SWIMMING BAGS WC AND SHOWER Each participant can collect his swimming bag from 16:00 on Friday the 5th of May at the Club Natació Barcelona Village. Access is by the San Sebastiá beach. In order for the swimmers to receive the best possible attention on the day of the challenge, the swimming bags must be collected on Friday. In the bag you will find: Cap T-shirt Wetbag Rental chip (if you do not have it yourself) Remember that if you have entered the individual challenge and the relay challenge you will only be given one shirt in your bag. 8 INDIVIDUAL ROUTE 1 lap = 2.000m Schedule: 9:00h 4km Men (2 laps of 2km) 9:15h 2km Men 10:30h 4km Women (2 laps of 2km) 10:45h 2km Women NOTE: Swimmers must always keep the yellow buoys to their left and red buoys and red helium balloons to their right. 9 MAP INDIVIDUAL START / FINISH SCHEDULE: 20 minutes before each exit swimmers will be called according to hat colour and participant number to the exit chamber. In the exit chamber, it will be validated that the swimmers wear a hat, bib number in hand and a chip. Without any of these elements, exit will not be allowed. 15 minutes before giving the exit will be allowed to heat in the area enabled for it. The output will be given by acoustic signal. 10 TURN POINT: This section is in the middle of the swim. It consists of a section on foot along the beach to avoid a barrier of rocks that it is impossible to swim past. This is an obligatory section which has a chip control. There will be health personnel to attend to any incidents. There will be liquid victualling and gels

11 RELAY SWIMS START / FINISH SCHEDULE: 12:30h ROUTE: 8X500m Each relay team will have 4 swimmers. Each team must complete 8 laps of the course, 2 laps for each swimmer. It is essential that each time a new swimmer enters the water the chip is passed on and properly attached to the ankle. Each swimmer does not have to necessarily complete 2 laps, and nor must they be consecutive, alternate or follow a specific pattern. PATROCINADOR PRINCIPAL MEDIO OFICIAL PATROCINADORS

12 MAP RELAY START / FINISH SCHEDULE: Each team will find in their bag, 4 CAPS The first swimmers will start together. From then on the next swimmer will wait until his team mate arrives, sitting on the chair provided with his team's name. When his team mate arrives the chip will be transferred and always attached to the ankle.
