2 On Sunday the 11th of June the 5ª MARNATON edreams Begur by VW California will take place, a challenge with two distances, a short swim of 3.5km (from Sa Tuna to ) and a long swim of 7km (from Aiguablava to ). Two swims in a natural environment of great beauty defined by cliffs and bays of crystal-clear water, the essence of the Costa Brava. Also there will be the KIDS challenge. 6 ROUTE 7km START: The start from Aiguablava will be given at 9:00 by an audible start signal. FEEDING STATIONS KM 2.8 AND KM 5.3: The feeding station will be located at anchored vessels identified by yellow helium balloons. Swimmers may lean on the vessel but may not climb onto it. Any swimmer who gets onto the vessel will be disqualified. 14 SA RIERA is the crucial point of the challenge. COLLECTION OF SWIMMING BAG (National Identity Document must be shown): Saturday from 16:00 to 20:00. Strongly recommended. Sunday: From 6:30 to 7:30 for participants in the 7km swim. From 8:00 to 9:00 for participants in the 3.5km swim. BRIEFING: Saturday at 20:00. 15 PARKING AREAS SA RIERA has 200 parking places. For this reason we request that you share cars to minimize traffic jams. The map shows the parking areas. PARKING AREAS

16 PARKING AREAS BEGUR Only for participants who have collected their cap-number and who wish to take the coach directly in Begur, there will be more parking areas in Begur, next to the coach pick-up point which will take you to the start. At the end of the challenge there will be a transfer service from to Begur between 12 and 15pm. SA RIERA BEGUR
