2 PRESENTATION This year we want to see you all sign up for the Cup. As you will see, the new schedule has been designed to increase the distance swam in KM so that you reach Formentera, where you can decide whether or not to join the LONG DISTANCE course of 11 KM, or the MEDIUM DISTANCE course of 4 Km. Either way you will finish all of the events on the schedule and therefore increase your points and final ranking. The more events you participate in, the more points you ll score at the end and therefore the higher your place in the ranking for the CUP. We have to inform you of a new feature which means that in order to score points and appear on the Ranking, you must use a YELLOW CHIP when participating. you who are REALLY GETTING STUCK IN!!!!!!!!!! Don t forget that at the end of the schedule we hold the CUP ceremony, where anyone who has participated in any event is invited to celebrate the end of the party. There will be a PRIZE DRAW, where you can win prizes such as: free registration for 2014 events, swimming equipment such as Sailfish wetsuits, Pleasure Boat Skipper courses courtesy of the Santaló Sailing School and much, much more. This time if you register for two, three or four CUP events, you ll be given a discount in your registration fee. AND FOR EVERYONE VYING FOR FIRST PLACE, remember that the prizes you can win include free registration and a trip to the Great Swim in Great Britain. The order of the scoring events is as follows: LA LUNA, in Calonge on 1 st June over 4.5 Km, SANT FELIU, in Canyet a Sant Feliu over 6 Km, CADAQUÉS on 14 th September over 6.5 Km and FINALLY FORMENTERA on 5 th October, with a choice between a 4 Km or 11 Km event, for those of

The more events, the more points you can win. 5 PRESENTATION Introducing the second edition of the Copa MARNATON edreams. A competition which is the combination of all of the competitive challenges of MARNATON, and its main sponsor edreams and the Copa s other sponsors, urge you to take part in the second edition of this race circuit which this year, for the first time, includes the 11Km route in Formentera, and a change of scenery for la Lluna. BENEFITS Overall ranking which will be updated on the website of MARNATON the week after each race finishes. Additional trophies and prizes for each individual event. Final trophy and award-giving ceremony with a prize draw for everyone. Discounts if you register for more than one race in 2013 s different events. RANKING SYSTEM The ranking is determined by adding up the points which have been won, but only in the following scoring events: La Luna 4.5Km, La Mar de Guíxols 6Km, Cadaqués 6.5Km and Formentera (Vuelta a espalmador)11km or Formentera (Vuelta a es Pas) 4Km. The person who wins the most points will be ranked highest, adding up no more than the three best results from all of the races completed. There is no minimum number of events to compete in the II MARNATON edreams Cup. In the event of a tie, the oldest participant, according to their date of birth, will be awarded the higher place. There is a different ranking for men and women. First place, 1 st woman and 1 st man will win the SPECIAL edreams PRIZE of

6 The points won in each event will be according to the following formula: Events shorter than 5000m: La Luna 4.5Km and Formentera 4Km (Vuelta a es Pas): (winner s final time/ personal final time) * 1000 Events between 5000m and 10000m: La Mar de Guíxols 6Km and Cap de Creus Cadaqués 6.5Km: (winner s final time/ personal final time) * 1500 Events longer than 10000m: Formentera 11Km (Vuelta a Espalmador) (winner s final time/ personal final time) * 2000 Marnaton edreams event, where the trophies and prizes will be awarded. REGISTRATION You can sign up to each individual event or register for more than one race at the same time and benefit from exceptional discounts: Registration for 2 events = 10% discount Registration for 3 events = 15% discount Registration for 4 events = 20% discount In the event of the distance of any of the events being changed, or there being especially difficult currents, weather conditions, etc. the organisation reserves the right to apply a new coefficient to correct this deviation. Due notice will be given of this change so that all participants are aware of it. The final ranking of the Cup will be approved at a meeting prior to its publication by the organising committee.
