1 June H Feeder Lamb Pen Project Members, Glad to see you weighed in feeder lamb pen lambs at the Clay County 4-H lamb weigh-in. Thank you for taking part in the feeder lamb pen project and for striving to learn more about raising and feeding lambs. These forms will help you keep track of your feed and medication records. Please find enclosed the Market Lamb Pen Enrollment form which should be completed and returned to the Clay County Extension Office by June 26th. Monthly feed records should be completed and returned to the Extension office at the end of each month and before the 10 th of the following month. (Example: June feed records are due on or before July 10 th ) A project completion form is to be filled out and returned to the 4-H Livestock Office on the Clay County Fairgrounds by 5:30 pm on the last Friday of the Clay County Fair. Books turned in on time will be judged and points will be given for record keeping. If you have any questions regarding the enclosed forms, please call the Clay County Extension Office or forrette@iastate.edu. Remember your 4-H Sheep Committee members hold a vast array of knowledge of the sheep industry and are willing to share that knowledge to help you be successful with your 4-H project work. 4-H Sheep Committee members include: Mike Schoning, Jim Schoelerman, Paula Buenger, Ryan Phillips, Bruce Hansen, Roger Baschke, Justin Speiker, Dave Merten and Neil Krummen Good luck with your feeder lamb pen project.
