1 Dear colleagues I write to all of you to invite you to participate in the 2 ND EUROPEAN EVENT FOR SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION PERSONNEL which will be held in Mallorca (Baleares), from the 19 th to the 24 th of May Allow me a few short lines to explain the motive behind this 2 ND SPORTS EVENT and our aims and objectives as an association. The SPANISH FEDERATION OF SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION WORKERS has been hosting an annual SPORTS EVENT for Social Security Administration personnel in Spain, and this year we held the 34 TH EVENT. Once this Sports Event has been consolidated at national level, our intention is to open our doors to the participation of all colleagues that provide their services to the public bodies of member states of the European Union. For this reason, the Spanish Federation of Social Security Administration Workers and the have decided to arrange and organise the 2 ND EUROPEAN EVENT FOR SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION PERSONNEL, with the aim of enabling the participation of Social Security colleagues from member states of the European Union. The Secretary of State for Social Security institutionally supports this type of activity, on the basis of a Resolution from the 13 th of May 2013 that establishes the procedure for collaboration between the Social Security Administration and the associations and federations integrated by public workers, belonging to bodies or levels of the Social Security Administration in relation to initiatives or proposals considered to be of interest. On the basis of said Resolution, the corresponding official permit for the participants from the Departments of Employment and Social Security who attend the Event will be requested from the General Sub-directorate of Personnel from the Ministry of Employment and Social Security. Without further ado, please receive a warm greeting, with the desire to be able to greet you personally at the 2 ND EVENT, to which you are invited, and to walk together along this new path that we have embarked upon. ORGANISATION The (FEAPASS) and the Spanish Federation of Social Security Worker Associations (FEAFASS), are organising the 2 ND EUROPEAN EVENT FOR SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION PERSONNEL, to be held in MALLORCA (BALEARES) between the 19 th and 24 th of May B A S E S 2. 3 3. PARTICIPATION All personnel based at the various EU bodies may participate, as well as those who provide a service in the Social Security managing bodies in the different EU countries. It is only possible to participate in one sport. Athletics inscriptions will be admitted as a second activity; nevertheless, in the event of a timetable clash, the participant must choose one of the two activities. 4. REGISTRATIONS We ask that participants register through the responsible for the Association / Group that they belong to. In those areas that don't have an Association, participants may register directly. The Associations/Groups and personnel interested in taking part must send the following documentation to the (FEAPASS), via ( (maria-paloma.motilva@seg-social.es), Mª PALOMA MOTILVA PERALTA (A Coruña): a. Registration form (appendix 1) b. List of participants c. Photocopy of the payment/transfer made to the current account held by FEAPASS. This document must be sent via (maria-paloma.motilva@seg-social.es) a/a Mª Paloma Motilva Peralta (A Coruña). For payments made ly the name, surname and city/country represented must appear; in the item section Torremolinos and the sport in question will be indicated The registration is personal and bears the 's name; which in the event of renouncing participation cannot be substituted for that of another participant. (The registration will not be valid if the registration form, appendix 1 and the photocopy of the payment are not sent) BANK BRANCH D.C. The documentation must arrive before 14:00 on the 15 th of October For organisational reasons registration requests received after the aforementioned date WILL NOT BE ADMITTED, nor will new participants be accepted once the registration period has closed. Registration implies total acceptance of the rules and dispositions established by the Associations. Given the institutional nature of these events, we inform you that the organisation will send a certificate of participation for the request of the corresponding permit.

4 5. REGISTRATION FEE The registration fee will be 10 Euros for each participant. This fee will not be refunded in the event of renouncement/cancellation of participation. This fee is separate to the amount that must subsequently be paid to cover accommodation and participation costs. 6. FINAL PHASE The Final Phase will be held in MALLORCA between the 19 th and 24 th of May Final participants must pay the amount of 300. This amount will be paid in four instalments, between January and April (the specific dates will be indicated at a later stage) and an fifth instalment for those who request an room or decide to bring forward the arrival date. There will be a prize draw amongst the participants for a stay for two people (two adults in a double room), for 6 nights in a 4-star hotel, in a location chosen by the winner from the diverse options offered by the Meliá chain, up to the amount of The draw will be made publically during the prize-giving ceremony for the Mallorca event, in May By the Executive Committee Mª Paloma Motilva Peralta Tel maria-paloma.motilva@seg-social.es
