Competition: Distance 5.4 km (2.7 km one way) - From Starting Point & Return 4. Category : Men (18 and above) Women (18 and above) Boys (13-17 years) Girls (13-17 years) Junior Boys (12 and below) Junior Girls (12 and below) 5. Tel : Fax : Dateline : 24 April Competition Format The participants for this challenge are required to swim in any style without any aids except a swimming goggle from the main island of Labuan to Papan Island and back. All participants are required to cross an imaginary line at Papan Island before swimming back to Labuan Island.

4 RULES & REGULATIONS 1. The age of participants should be 18 years and above for (Men / Women), years (Boys / Girls) and 12 years and below (Junior Boys / Junior Girls). 2. Participants below the age of 18 years, a consent letter of participation is required from the parents or guardian. *A photocopy of a Birth Certificate or IC of participants and parents or guardian should be submitted together with the letter of consent. 3. Participants are required to display the number given throughout the competition. 4. Participants are prohibited from utilizing any forms of devices except swimming goggle. 5. Participants must respect fundamental ethical principles and to act within the implicit nature and intent of the organizer that is, to always compete / participate honorably and uphold the principles of good sportsmanship, fair play and non-discrimination and to behave in all circumstances, in an appropriate manner. 6. Any form of protests submitted to the organizers must include a non refundable payment of RM Any decisions taken by the organizers are final. 8. The organizers will not be held responsible / liable for any damages or loss to personnel properties of the participants throughout the competition. 9. The organizers will not be held responsible / liable for any accidents that occurred before, during or after the competition. 10. The organizers reserve the right to make changes or add to the rules and regulations as deemed necessary. 11. All participants must sign the indemnity form and attached the form with the entry form. Participants below the age of 18 must attached a consent letter together with a photocopy of IC from the parents or guardian. It is the duty of the participants to ensure that he / she are medically and physically fit to participate in this event. 12. Payment / Fees are not refundable in the event the cancellation due to nature or weather conditions.

6 PRIZES The Labuan Cross Channel Swimming Challenge offers attractive cash prizes, medals and certificate for the winners. The champion (participant with the best time) will received an incentive of RM on top of the cash prizes won.
