5 Bus/Van Parking: Visiting buses and vans may usually park in the driveway area along Lock Street adjacent to the athletic center. Please be careful not to block the parking space reserved for the doctor. Visitor Parking: Visitor parking may be reserved in advance through your host. Otherwise, visitor parking at NJIT is available in the NJIT parking deck. Turn right onto Warren Street. Turn right onto Colden Street and proceed around the block to Summit Street. Take the Broad Street exit. Merge onto Broad Street. Take Broad Street about two miles down, and the stadium will be on your right hand side. Reaching NJIT by Non-Driving Transportation Systems NWK is the closest station to the University. Call for automated information on schedules and rates. Newark International Airport: Five miles from the NJIT campus. A mini bus (Newark Airlink) or taxi service connects the airport with Penn Station in Newark. Bus, city subway, and taxi connections may be obtained at the station. Newark Penn Station: Connections to the NJIT campus may be made by bus, subway or taxi. Morris & Essex Broad Street Station: A five-block walk to the NJIT campus via King Boulevard to Central Avenue. Taxi service is also available. Newark City Subway: From Penn Station in Newark, take the Warren Street stop for the NJIT campus.

6 Sports Medicine Services and Facilities On behalf of the NJIT Sports Medicine Staff, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your team to NJIT. We hope the following information will be helpful to you during this upcoming season. Visiting teams will have the following available to them: Water, cups, injury ice and emergency equipment Biohazard Safety Kit Access to the Athletic Training Room before and after the contest A Certified Athletic Trainer will be in attendance for all home games Primary Facility: Fleisher Athletic Center Training Room The training room is located on the first floor, down the hall from the pool and next to the women s locker room Taping and Treatment Tables Hot and Cold Whirlpools, Hydrocollator Packs, EMS and Ultrasound units, and bikes Please Note: If your team is not traveling with an Athletic Trainer, please call ahead so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Please be sure to send a kit along with your team containing any taping/first aid supplies and emergency information which might be needed. We kindly request that the athlete have a written prescription from a physician or Certified Athletic Trainer for all modalities when a student or no athletic trainer is traveling with your team. AEDs are found by the main entrance next to the first floor elevator and by the basketball gym main entrance next to the concession stand.

14 Crowd Control Policy Basketball The following information pertains to the crowd control guide lines set forth by the NJIT Athletics Department for the Fleisher Athletic Center. 1. Athletic Department host will meet the visiting team upon their arrival to escort them to their locker room. 2. Two or more NJIT Public Safety Officers will be stationed in and around the FAC by the start of contest. 3. A NJIT Athletics Representative will escort the referees to their locker room at the conclusion of both the first half and the end of the game. All spectators will be required to be seated during the playing of the contest. Any disturbances that may occur in the stands will be handles by the NJIT Police and the game supervisor.

XC course is located in park loop between Bloomfield Ave and Heller Pkwy about 2 miles from park entrance ,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c254f6d10a388d:0xd305cc01d34d9263 From NJIT Take the Newark subway from Warren Street Station (located on Lock St. next to the athletic field) to Davenport Ave Station (walk 50m into park via path, cross street and go over path/bridge, turn left and walk 200m to staging area. Or get off at Branch Brook Park station, walk into park and turn right. Staging area would be about 200m past Heller Pkwy. OR Walk(2.75 miles from campus) down Lock St and turn left onto Central Ave. go to the light and turn right onto Norfolk St.. Park entrance is just past route 280. Enter park and follow roadway for approximately 2 miles to start of course which located near Heller Pkwy. From the Garden State Parkway Take Exit 145 (Newark-The Oranges) to I-280 EAST to Exit 13 (Newark-First Street). LEFT at bottom of ramp onto FIRST STREET. RIGHT at first light onto ORANGE STREET. At second light turn LEFT onto CLIFTON AVE. Park entrance is about 1/2 mile ahead on the left. Enter park and follow park road for about 2.5 miles (you will go under 2 overpasses). Look for flag pole and WHITE/RED tents on the infield). From the NJ Turnpike Exit 15-W to I-280 West (after drawbridge) to Exit 14A (Clifton Avenue). Up ramp, RIGHT at light onto Clifton Ave. Park entrance is ahead on the left. Enter park and follow park road for about 2.5 miles (you will go under 2 overpasses). Look for flag pole and WHITE/RED tents on the infield). Route 78 Take Route 78 to the Garden State Parkway. Follow GSP directions. New York Thruway Thruway to Exit 14A, Garden State Parkway.
