2 Location Bremworth Park, Amanda Ave, Dinsdale Times Club game day lasts from 8.30am-2.00pm. The time slots are: 8:30am am pm 1.00 pm Intermediate begins at 2.00pm and finishes at 6.00pm. The time slots are: 2.00pm 3.00pm 4.00pm 5.00pm Grades Structure There are two grades for Club League: A Grade, B Grade A Grade: 10 a-side: 16 player s maximum named on the day 30 minute halves Stop clock in the last 30 seconds of each half Drop sticks after each goal B Grade: 8 a-side: 14 player s maximum named on the day 30minute halves Stop clock in the last 30 seconds of each half Drop sticks after each goal Points Win = 3 points Draw = 1 point Loss/Default = 0 points Fields There are two fields playing concurrently. The fields are a grass. Cleats or sports shoes are recommended. B Grade and Intermediate league play on a half field. Draw The draw will be available online on our website as soon as all clubs have submitted their teams. Results and points will be posted weekly.

3 Hosting Duties Each club will be rostered to host on the draw. Duties include: Having the goals on two fields set up by 8.15am. Setting up the duty table between field one and two (and the gazebo if rain is forecast), and ensure the score boards are ready for teams to get before their games, and the results folder ready for final score cards to be placed into after their games. Ensuring the first aid kit is available on the duty table. Packing down all goals at the end of games, if intermediate League isn t on after. If it is, then setting them up on four half fields. Cleaning up any rubbish. If a club fails to carry out its hosting duties, one point per team of that club will be deducted. All Teams (Club) Collect the scorecard prior to your team warm-up from the Duty Table. Ensure it is filed out correctly with player full names and numbers, passing it on to the other team and then have it ready to give to the umpires completed at the start of the game. This is important to ensure games can run to time and scorecards are filled out correctly with player s full names and numbers. At the game, each team needs to provide a timekeeper or scorer. The winning team is responsible to ensure either the umpire or themselves gets the scorecard back to the duty table directly after the game and that it goes into the results folder. Pack Up Duties Intermediate League All teams scheduled to play at 4pm (last game of the day) need to ensure they pack up the goals and mats on the field they are playing on, placing them back into the storage shed, along with the duty table, gazebo, and score sheets. Umpiring Clubs are allocated umpiring duties on the draw. Clubs are required to provide a set number of umpires as determined by the WLA Umpiring Officer. Club Umpiring Clinics The WLA Umpiring Officer will be arranging an umpiring workshop. It is each club s responsibility to ensure attendance. This will likely take early in the club season starts. More information will be ed to clubs. If a club fails to carry out its umpiring duties, one point per umpire will be deducted from the club s Division One team and the club will be fined $25 per umpire to be paid to the person

4 that fills in for the club s missing umpire. Umpires need to be at the field a minimum of 10 mins before the game start time to conduct a stick check, ensure team sheets are completed and to do the captains toss. In the case that an umpire has a game prior preventing this, they must be there no later than 5 mins prior or must have a qualified replacement to conduct the formalities on their behalf. If you have any questions about the league, please contact your club s Captain/representative. Direct any umpiring related questions to the WLA Umpiring Officer, Ursula Johnson. Rules The WLA Summer Club League plays the FIL rules including trial rules. Equipment FIL approved sticks are mandatory at club level. Protective eyewear is mandatory for club season (please see mandatory eye wear policy). Fees WLA Club Season fees this season are $100 per player for Under 19 Years (31st of October 2017) and $130 for seniors. Clubs need to fill in the team list sheet online which will be provided by the WLA by 6 November and will be invoiced the following week. All payments are due before 13 November. 10% discount for families. Intermediate Grade fees are $220 per team. By-Laws This league is run in accordance with the WLA Bylaws.
