1 FASA rebrands for the future and follows the new soccer culture in the USA. We are Fredericksburg FC We have moved towards a logo and brand that is more in line with the current professionalism that has taken over the United States Soccer culture. The MLS ( Major League Soccer ) has been at the helm of evolving and adapting to the rapid growth of the 'beautiful game' in the United States with many professional teams adopting a new logo as well as the league itself presenting a new timeless and clean look with a more european based approach. Formerly the boys were being recognized as HOTSPUR and girls as IMPACT. The club was also using multiple versions of the logo to identify ASDL, Academy and other programs. We have moved towards promoting the club to be seen as ONE TEAM. We are all FREDERICKSBURG FC and are one unified brand. RECENT AND UPCOMING CHANGES AT FREDERICKSBURG FC Full Time Staff Hires With club growth and the current competitive market for youth soccer it was important for the club to change direction and pursue a core of Full-Time employees. The new Fredericksburg FC brand reflects the evolution of FASA moving away from having only part-time employees and creating a core of Full-Time Staff Employees able to meet the needs of it's members around the clock. We are currently in the process of adding additional full time staff. The club has been restructured with the following positions already in place. The office has been overhauled with a new look and is currently undergoing some major changes, so please be understanding when entering the office.

The website is going thru a current 'soft launch' with the coaches and managers. It should be available to all members by the first or second week in November. Please be patient with any glitches or issues as we are working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible. This will streamline the Registration process for all programs and will provide a solid overview of everything Fredericksburg FC will be offering. It will also provide proper team pages. This will used to provide a proper oversight of the clubs new Policies & Procedures, By-Laws and Board Meeting Minutes.

3 Winter Programming & Club Tryouts Fredericksburg FC ( FASA ) will hold Winter Tryouts in November, Monday 17th - Thursday 20th. This will also be used as an opportunity to have everyone register thru our new online website and registration system. An regarding Winter Tryouts will follow this week. Club Wide FUTSAL Initiative We have partnered with the Fredericksburg Field House and will be offering Futsal throughout the winter for U4 - U12 Travel and Academy on NEW Sport Court Flooring Starting Dec. 1, this will be seen as part of our NEW Year Round Travel Soccer Programming and Development and should not be seen as just 'Winter Training'. An additional Futsal Newsletter regarding the program and sign up will follow. It will summarize the weekly Futsal Training and In-House league play that will be offered and how it will keep your costs down which parents are normally caught paying for multiple programs which aren't usually beneficially for their development. Futsal is the only Indoor Soccer Model recognized by FIFA. We will also have options available thru the Field House for ASDL to play Futsal and we are looking into options for League Play for the U13-18 age groups as well. games. The club will be providing all Futsal Balls for training and U13-18 Age Groups will continue with Outdoor Training at Fredericksburg Field House on the Outdoor Turf Field. U13-18 Winter Training Schedule will also be released shortly, there are no extra costs expected for Travel Parents to continue training thru the Winter outdoor. Club Future and what is to come... The new brand is to reflect the professional direction the club is moving towards. The club itself is financially solid and has it's sights set on projects such as Outdoor Futsal Fields at FASA Park ( which will also be renamed ), Permanent Lighting for Fields 5,6 & 7 and new long term partnership agreement with a large Tournament Management Company.

4 The club will also have a club wide development curriculum and training schedule. Some of the immediate changes you might have noticed was the regrouping of training with U13-18 age groups at Field House Outdoor Turf and all U12 & Under at FASA Park. We also restructured all the game and training fields for the U8 and Under Academy. This was only the beginning, now we will be focusing on providing a curriculum that goes along with the new upcoming structure. Fredericksburg FC merges with Semi-Pro NPSL and WPSL Teams The Grover Gibson Soccer Foundation which is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit will rebrand it's successful Richmond, VA based RVA FC men's and women's programs with Fredericksburg FC youth club and will relocate permanently to Fredericksburg, VA. RVA FC were the 2013 Men's National Champions. This will provide Fredericksburg FC with a Full Development Model for all ages not only youth, but also for men and women playing at the collegiate level and beyond. The financial cost of these programs will remain with The Grover Gibson Soccer Foundation and will not be a burden on the Fredericksburg FC (FASA) youth club. This is an affiliation rather than an additional cost to the youth club. The NPSL ( National Premier Soccer League ) and WPSL ( Women's Premier Soccer League ) are the two largest men's and women's semiprofessional leagues in the United States. A larger press release will be coming soon regarding this merger. Club Uniforms and Gear The new brand will not affect your current uniforms which were already bought and paid for. Any future purchases will be using the new FFC brand. We are currently under a 4 year contract with Adidas and were already planned for all new uniforms for the Fall of We will simply phase out the FASA uniforms with the new brand as it fits our current adidas contract situation. If anyone is ordering any new complete team uniforms or complete team training gear, then it would need to be using the new FFC Logo and Brand. All new coaching gear which was recently ordered will all be newly branded with Fredericksburg FC.
