Call times may change at the last minute. Please check the website for latest details and most accurate information. Additionally, Mr. Scott announces call times to the students at school. Spring Band Trip Destination and trip details were approved by the PRSD School Board. Williamsburg/Norfolk NATO Parade Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29
2 Parade of Nations in Norfolk, Virginia Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Virginia Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia Washington D.C. Tour of Monuments Cost estimate: $500-$600 per student Spring Band Trip Commitment Return Trip Commitment Form and pay deposit by Wednesday, October 18, 207 Payment Options: Check for $250 payable to EMA Pay Online by ing EMA at Include the following information: Pine-Richland Marching Band, Parent Name, Student Name, Address, Amount to Charge ($250) EMA will then provide an electronic invoice major credit cards and PayPal are accepted. A 3% processing fee will be charged. Cancellation Insurance can be purchased for $29 info@ameritiours.com for details Final Payment due on March 1, 2018 Return Commitment Form even if student is not attending the trip Spring Band Trip Chaperones ALL trip chaperones must have independent volunteer clearances. The chaperone list for all events has been determined based on Interests selected in Charms. Trip chaperones will be selected from this chaperone list. Trip Fundraising Fall Sports Raffles and Spring Sports & Music Raffle(s) Additional Trip Fundraisers Potential to generate $30,000-$40,000 before the trip! 2,000 tickets for each raffle (4,000 tickets available now) If everyone sells 20 tickets (10 for each raffle), will maximize profits. Stromboli Sale, Pie Sale, Pierogi Sale Less profitable, but always popular
3 Proceeds from trip fundraisers will lower the overall trip cost per student. Encourage all families to participate in these fundraisers. Trip Fundraising Targets Suggesting a minimum target sales amount for the Stromboli, Pie, and Pierogi fundraisers. Of course, you can always sell more than the minimum suggested sale amount! If you prefer to not participate in these fundraisers, you are welcome to make a donation to support the band! Thank you for supporting the band! 5 Chick-fil-A Rewards Program Band Spiritwear Sales Sale #3 deadline will be November 30 (in time for holiday gifts). Spiritwear Store is always available online in Charms. Must meet deadline to ensure your order is processed for that sale date. Be sure to Check Out and Process Payment in the online store. If you do not, your order will not be placed. Sale #4 will occur prior to the band trip (hoping to offer some new spring wardrobe items, i.e. shorts) Fall Sports Raffles Fall Sports Raffle Tickets are on sale now! Drawings October 20 at Pine-Richland home football game. Two separate raffles this fall due to the extreme generosity of our ticket donors. Our band families rock! Thanks again to the Kwasnick and Rudolph families for their Penguins and Steelers ticket donations and to the Plazas for securing a donation from Evoqua that includes Penguins tickets and an on-ice Zamboni ride for one! Fall Sports Raffles Raffle Prize Package #1 Raffle Prize Package #2 Fall Sports Raffles Tickets easy to sell and net nearly 100% profit! All profits reduce the cost of the spring band trip. Tickets are $5 each and can be ordered in booklets of ten (10 tickets per booklet - $50 per booklet) Fundraising Target: Minimum of 20 tickets (10 for each raffle package) per student. If you prefer to make a donation in lieu of selling, an equivalent donation for this fundraiser would be $100. Fall Sports Raffles How to request your tickets: Christine Plaza to let her know that you would like two sets of tickets (one booklet for each raffle) sent home with your student. What if I wish to purchase more than two sets? If your tickets are paid in full, you may request additional tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis until all tickets are sold. 6 Payment: Payment ($50 per booklet) accepted upon ordering or upon sale of tickets and return of completed ticket stubs, whichever you prefer. Make all checks payable to "PRBB" or "Pine-Richland Band Boosters" and place in the band box or give to Christine. Payment and stubs are due October 13, but please return your ticket stubs and checks ASAP. Please return unsold tickets ASAP to give others a chance to sell them. We want to maximize the profits on our most lucrative fundraiser! This is a HUGE opportunity to raise significant funds for the spring trip. Please sell as many tickets as you can! Stromboli Fundraiser Stromboli sale is underway! Strombolis are $3.00 each. Please make all checks payable to PRBB or Pine-Richland Band Boosters. Due date for payment and forms is October 16, Payment should be included with all Stromboli orders. Order form is available on the band website. Stromboli delivery and distribution in the band room on or before October 26. Each student should aim to sell a minimum of 10 Stromboli. If you prefer to make a donation in lieu of selling, an equivalent donation would be about $10. Has to be wrapped up before Spring Trip to calculate benefit. Previous raffle included U2 Concert Tickets, Penguins Tickets, and Cash. Please consider donating Concert Tickets, Opening Day or other Pirates Tickets, Penguins Tickets, etc. Thanks to Christine Plaza for chairing all of our raffle fundraisers! Rewards Program Keep collecting your Cranberry Chick-fil-A receipts and sending them into the Band Box! We anticipate that receipts from the new Chick-fil-A opening in Pine Township will also be collectable, since it is under the same ownership. Due to the magnificent success of the Chick-fil-A Food Credit Rewards Program, we have earned $ in free food to date, which will be used to offset Senior Night costs. Pictures will be displayed in the band room and, hopefully, at our Homecoming Booth! Volunteer Update and Reminders Openings remain for Concessions & Candy Stand If you have not yet had an opportunity to volunteer for concessions or if you can help again, please sign up. Utilize SignUp.com to recruit and manage volunteers. Openings communicated via and on the band website. If you need to change/cancel your volunteer commitment, please edit online so volunteer openings are current on SignUp.com. If you need to change/cancel your commitment at the last minute, please contact appropriate committee chair as soon as possible so that your spot can be filled.
