There is a pep rally scheduled for approximately 2:00, and the games begin at 6:00 tomorrow night Tuesday, February 8. The varsity girls and boys will be playing against Avinger. Parents Night presentations will be made during halftime of the varsity girls game. Homecoming Court will be presented during halftime of the varsity boys game when the new queen, king, duke, duchess, prince, and princess will be crowned. See pictures pages 7-8. Tentative Early Release on Wednesday We are looking at the possibility of inclement weather again on Wednesday of this week. There is a tentative early release on that day. That is NOT a definite early release only if we are forced to because of weather. Please listen to KSST AM or check our website at sulphurbluffisd.net. Any Little Dribbler Games on the Schedule for Monday or Thursday nights this week in Miller Grove will instead be played in Saltillo or Sulphur Bluff. Those scheduled to be played in the old gym at Miller Grove will be played at Sulphur Bluff. Those scheduled to be played in the new gym at Miller Grove will instead be played in Saltillo. This is only for this Monday and Thursday nights that these changes come into effect; therefore our gym will be open on Monday and Thursday night for Little Dribbler play from throughout our district from approximately 6:00-9:00 on both nights this week. Specific times that Sulphur Bluff teams will play can be seen in the Upcoming Events box.
2 Lady Bears Play Homecoming Tomorrow at 6:00 Sulphur Bluff Girls Basketball Report-January 28, 2011Sulphur Bluff Varsity Lady Bears 55-Karnack 58 The Lady Bears started down early in the first quarter Karrissa Wolf and Jamie Goldsmith helped with a 3-pointer to take the lead going in to the half, Tyiesha Kidd came right back for the Indians at the start of the 3rd quarter making two 3-pointers in a row to tie it back up and after that the game was a very close ball game the rest of the way. In the 4th quarter, the Lady Indians beat the Lady Bears down low and at the free-throw line. The loss gives the Lady Bears a 4-3 district record and an overall record of st Quarter SB 11/KRK 14; 2nd Quarter SB 15/KRK 6; 3rd Quarter SB 15/KRK 21; 4th Quarter SB 14/KRK 16.
