The outpouring of love and support that you showed is what the Annunciation School community is all about. Our school mass on Ascension Thursday will be offered for Mr. Capozi. It has also been requested that we honor him at our school walk-a-thon this year. What better tribute than to celebrate him on a day we celebrate school pride! Since the closing of school was unexpected on Monday, we are required to make up the day on May 27 th. As originally planned, May 26 th will be a regular day and May 27 th will be a noon dismissal and the walk-athon will be held then. Please mark your calendar. If you have already made plans for May 27 th, we will miss you at the walk-a-thon. G2K The King and I Annunciation School s Drama Club, under the direction of Ms. Stoutenburg, Sr. Theresa and Mrs. Brosnahan will be presenting G2K The King and I, Friday, April 29 th at 7:00pm and Saturday, April 30 th at 7:00pm. Admission is by pre-purchased tickets only. Both shows are sold out! Tickets will be sent home today with the youngest child in your family.

2 Vacation Bible School Annunciation is excited to offer a Vacation Bible School this June! Current Annunciation PreK and K students are invited to join us for two weeks of music, activities, and faith-filled fun. The program will run from June 13 24, on Mondays through Thursdays from 8:15 2:30 and on Fridays from 8:15 12:00. Children will bring their own lunch and snack every day (no lunch on Fridays). The cost for the program is $500. To secure your spot, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 is due by May 1 st, with a final payment of $400 due by June 1. We hope to see you there! God Bless! The Annunciation Home School Association is once again selling gift cards to Stew Leonard s. Stock up now for all your Mother s Day, Communion, and Confirmation purchases! For each gift card you purchase, Annunciation School receives up to 10% of the total we purchase as a group, and you get the full value of the gift card. It really is as easy as that! If you wish to order one or more gift cards, please complete the bottom portion of this flyer and return it to school with a check payable to Annunciation Home School Association, in an envelope marked Stew Leonard s Gift Cards. All gift card orders MUST be returned by Thursday, April 28 th. The cards can be sent home in your child s homework folder or will be available for pick up at school on Monday, May 2 nd. Please call Suzie Marley at for gift cards, to arrange a delivery if you are unable to pick up your gift cards, or if you have any questions. If you shop at Stew s, please consider buying gift cards. 7 ANNUNCIATION STUDENTS MIDNIGHT RUN OFFERTORY COLLECTION May 5th s offertory collection will be a package of disposable razors. There will be a collection box outside Mrs. Sinnott s office the week leading up to First Friday mass for those that want to bring it in before Friday. Thank you to those that contributed to April s offertory collection of men s deodorant. Please understand how much your contribution matters. It helps us in our mission to extend the love and support of our community to our homeless friends that are living on the streets of Manhattan. Please watch for additional information about the ways in which students can continue their involvement in this very critical mission.
