1 High School / Middle School Announcements September 28 High School Anna Local Schools - Announcements School Store is open from 8:10-8:40 in the old concession stand by the office. Please come and check out what we have for you. Attention Boys Basketball players- Ernst Sporting Goods will be here on Wednesday Sept 30th for basketball shoe fittings during lunch periods. For more information please see Coach Barhorst. High School Cross-Country: The high school boys posted a rare perfect score at the Sidney Invitational. Anna took the first five places in the meet. This was the first time an Anna cross-country team has accomplished this rare feat. Lucas Huber was first, followed by Tyler McKee 2nd, Brad Axe 3rd, Joel Gaier 4th, Korash Assani 5th, Matthew Burden 8th, and Kyle Christman 16th. The high school girls finished third as a team. Jennifer Robinson was 6th, Gracen Rogers 10th, Jenna Harshbarger 14th, Nicole Smith 24th, Mindy Schmitmeyer 35th, Tierra Ganger 51st, and Molly Batchelder 53rd. Congratulations to the High School Band on their impressive performance at Saturday's Graham Band Festival. Thanks to all students involved. The JV and Varsity Volleyball team defeated Houston this past weekend Activities: Academia- Away Soccer at Franklin Monroe FFB vs Marion Local home Middle School Cheer uniform fitting will be after school today in the courtyard for all basketball cheerleaders. 3 The first middle school Science Olympiad meeting will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) after school from 3:15-4:15 in Mr. Maurer's room. The Anna soccer team defeated Franklin Monroe 2-0. Sara Kettler and Raquel Bolheimer 1 goal each. Raquel Bolheimer had 1 assist. Kristin Grimes had 6 saves in goal. The rockets are 10-1 on the season. They will play Lehman Thursday at Lehman Pre-sale tickets for Friday s game available in HS office. Activities: JHVB vs Russia VB vs Russia Golf- District Sectional Middle School. Hallway expectations: students, you are reminded to walk in the hallway, not run, remain quiet as other classes are going on, and be on time for class. Pre-sale tickets for Friday s game against Marion Local are available in HS office. Dress code going well with the exception of some leggings and spandex running pants. You can wear them, but the shirt must completely cover the rear to near knuckles length.
